Thanks. I have actually been lurking for a few weeks trying to figure out what game to get and what map to make,and I have been to boardgamegeek as well.
Thanks for replying. I figured practice was going to be the only way to get better.

Played my first ever game of Axis and Allies last night. The friend I played against and I took almost 2 hours to play one round, but were eren’t exactly in a rush. The question I had was in the setup.
We knew we weren’t going to finish a game, but all of the time invested into setting up the board made us feel bad playing jsut one round.
I was wondering if anyone had any shortcuts, or any tricks in speeding up the setup.
Seems like it’s just something you’ll get faster at with time and practice.

By the way, although we were not exactly sure of what we were doing, we both saw how much fun it could be after we get the hang of it.
