Hmmm, probably my first game. My brother played axis, and he NEVER attacked with Germany (except with some naval units, but that’s it)…of course Russia massacred them, no real help needed from the other allies. Even when Russia would take a german territory, he wouldn’t counter-attack. It was fun at first for me, but got kinda boring.

Dicey is a program on the internet that works out combat for axis and allies, Darth. You put in what units are fighting, and it will give you the result.

OK, I was reading ‘Soldiers’ which discusses a lot of aspects of warfare, and the history of things like artillery, infantry, cavalry, etc. I even read that there were talks of revolution by the soldiers when guns were introduced, because they liked the old traditional ways better. Would you rather have warfare like it was back THEN (swords, spears, cavalry, etc) or NOW (machine guns, tanks, planes….)

Personally, I’m not really sure which I prefer…both are appealing to me! Warfare nowadays though is becoming more dependent on machine than man, which I think is a shame. By the way, I plan to join the Canadian infantry in November (but I’ve heard my application won’t go through for a few months, but that’s ok)

It’s got no REAL plot…just about these 2 guys, lots of drugs, alcohol, trashing hotel rooms, and some other cool stuff. You’d have to see it for yourself!

Heh heh, yeah at my friend’s house I was drunk and I was in the kitchen looking for the light switch, right? Then I fell over and busted my head open (got 6 stitches later) and my friend’s mom called the hospital and she was goin nuts, because they wouldn’t give me an ambulance ride unless I was unconscious, and we didn’t have a car there. (eventually, had to call my mom and stepdad and THEY drove me to the hospital)

Here in Holland, drugs are openly available to anyone with $. You’re ‘supposed’ to be 18, but from what I’ve seen the sellers could care less.

Yeah, you can find a lot of ideas for different techs out there. I think Kremlin has a lot of that kinda thing.
