RE: What to do with Japon ships after pearlposted in Axis & Allies Classic
my normal j1 is an ind for manchuria, 3 tanks j2, j3 etc. j1 buy is also 1 trans, and inf. I usually dont fare so well at pearl, but with your example, thats my move. I do always pressure russia, for a few extra ipc’s mainly. If pearl goes bad, my j2 main move is take out india. Sorry for the lack of detail, im not big on words. Or alot of words, that is.

At that point, with that much navy, continue to harass us. Take hawaii with amp inv on j2, j3, take panama. j2 build would have been 2 trans, for inv of alaska on j3. Now the us usually cant take u out on both territories, now they are blocked in east. J4, build ind on alaska. I keep ferrying to alaska. J4, I park my navy off western us.

RE: Best House Rules ever!posted in House Rules

Can they be taken out by a “Tall Boy”, dropped from a bomber on a roll of 1? The “First” bunker buster!

" “The war goes on” - When a capital falls, only half of held IPCs (round up) are given to the conquering player. In addition, powers with occupied capitols continue to collect IPCs and may mobilize infantry as China does. If they control an industrial complex, they may mobilize artillery at those complexes They may not mobilize any other units until their capitol is liberated. As is the case with China, the movement of units is limited to their original territories." Bill C

Last Night !posted in Axis & Allies Revised Edition
I got sealion’d on G2 and lost GB, then on G3, lost Moscow! I got caught off gaurd last night in revised. My group and I have been playing for 15 years, 7 on Revised. Really bad rolls too, 2 aa hits, then nothing else. G1 & J1, I hit nothing on defence, lol.

RE: Researcher Tokensposted in Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition
Correct for aa50 only, now used as a house rule in other games!

RE: Best House Rules ever!posted in House Rules
I can agree with you, I dont like the fact that they took away the rule where AA can shoot at any plane that passes through its territory, but I understand why.

RE: Best House Rules ever!posted in House Rules
Paratroopers yes
AAA - always active antiaircraft
every round of combat they get a roll @ 1, against each plane. -
RE: Coastal Gunsposted in House Rules
We could always adopt it as a house rule? Have u seen any footage where a battleship is listing? I have! Many needed to be towed back for repairs, as well as ac, during the war. The way I remember it, us only had 1 battleship & 1 ac in service when japan surrendered!

RE: Coastal Gunsposted in House Rules
Idk?, I like the idea of B ships, not being able to bombard, due to listing, but still having smaller guns for aircraft/other ships. Allow multiple coastal guns, unlike AA?
