RE: World War II - The Complete Gameposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
@AndrewAAGamer Dear Sir… Yes the Map is 6 feet by 10 feet. The purpose of the map design is to make it both geographical as well as politically correct for 31 Aug - 1939… In the 28 years and 12 version of this game I have crafted… and roughly 400 play test games… you are the first to suggest to get rid of the blow up boxes… and I would if I could keep the ratio the same… The blow-up boxes are not that large in comparison to the total map… As for the pieces, I totally re-designed them for this version and reprinted all 4000 pieces on my 3-d printer… While some of the pieces did not change in size -but in more detail… none were made bigger… all but 1 of the ship designs were made slightly shorter and thinner… but I really appreciate your insight for my game… If youre in the Tulsa, OK area near the end of February of 2026… come to the game con and see it for yourself… Also if you like send me an email at cefjr1961@gmail.com and I will send you .pdf files for both the map and rules…
Sincerely;Charles Fontaine

@CentralCommando According to my research… Tunisia became French Protectorate first week of Sept 1939 after the invasion of Poland and the Start of WWII… Egypt… after the treaty in 1936 only allowed British Soldiers in the Suez canal zone - which is a separate area on the Map and is shown under British control. As for South Africa, the Statute of Westminster passed by the British Parliament in December 1931, which repealed the Colonial Laws Validity Act and implemented the Balfour Declaration 1926, had a profound impact on the constitutional structure and status of the Union. The Union of south Africa flew the same flag from 1928 to 1994… 3 stripes with 3 small flags in the center. The map file because its a PDF of the full size CorelDRAW file… It is 15.9 MB… which is 7,9 MB too large for here… I misspoke before when I said 8 gb… its 8 mb… I hope you understand where I came from for the map… and in vinyl… it costs $220 to print another… I spent 4 months researching every single country to try to find the size - shapes - borders - control - and military contingent for each zone…

@CentralCommando All 3 of those according to my research were independent on Aug 31, 1939 which is the day the map is based on… The flags on the map are the flags they were flying on that date according to Wikipedia… If you have other research… I’d love to see it…
Email me at cefjr1961@gmail.com and Ill send you the pdf for the map… and the .STL files to make the 3-d pieces

PS Ill be bringing this game to Game convention in St. Louis MO in Mis May, 2025

RE: WWII - The Complete Gameposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
@The-Janus The answer to your question is “YES”. It is in the rulebook how the situation breaks down for 3-8 players… but basically, Russia is a neutral power in 1939. In this game, it can join either the Axis or the Allies… It also has the option to remain neutral, and has a separate victory condition for that situation…

RE: WWII - The Complete Gameposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
@redrum I will check it out… but I never thought about making this into a computer game… While the 75 page rule book is simple to follow along, all the different nuances in the board would make it more difficult than I have time for since I am now disabled. That is why I finally decided to give it away for free… This is the last of the 29 games I invented over a 35 year career…

RE: WWII - The Complete Gameposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
@CrazyIvan It depends on how many players you have… 3 people who are familiar with the game could set it up in 1 hour… If you have all 8 players, then like 20 minutes… The average game takes like 4-6 hours to play, depending on the level of knowledge of the game for all the players…

WWII - The Complete Gameposted in Other Axis & Allies Variants
There is 1 more game that is missing from this list… I invented it and never published it… It took 9 years of tweaking and play testing to get it right… It is the ultimate A&A style game so far ever made… It is called WWII - The complete game. The board is 68" X 120" - starts at Sept 1 - 1939, is for 3-8 players, has over 1200 playing pieces on the board at the start, has 18 different types of pieces, a 3-tiered expanded technology chart, spies and diplomacy, and much, much more… I have taken this game to Aggie-con years ago, and had 50+ players playing 24 hours a day for the entire con on it… A picture of me and the board is provided. I am now giving copies of the CorelDraw map, a jpg version of the map, and the complete rulebook and charts for free to anyone who emails me at cefjr1961@gmail.com.
The files you need to make and play the game are at the top!!!
