So, everyone give me your ideas for adding Vichy rules! I am getting a little tired of the unrealistic OOB setup which eliminates historical French rules. I would like to stress that I want changes to be simple and not changing the balance. Thanks! :roll:

My craziest game had the US capturing Tokyo and Rome while Germany had Moscow and London. US got France in the game while Germany got Ottawa. China was stopping the Germans In kazakhstand while UKP help the middle East. Germany looked done for. Then surprise! The Germans took Washington! SAME TURN US GOT BERLIN! Germany lost while holding Washington…that was when my friends and I didn’t know much about strategy…
Me and my friends do this a lot. We simply use the games as is. No changes. Just fran with alliances. To make one player not left out though he can play three small countries like Fr Ch An.
This is a great mod. I have played it maybe8 times and it seems balanced. It is great to have three setups for one game! OOB 1940 2nd, Otzeas 1941, and Larry’s tounrnament 1942.
Can anyone think of a balanced way to make Canada its own power without connecting it with Anzac?
For the destroyer problem…Simply use a combo of UKWW1 sea units. E.g.ww1 Battleships and ww1cruisers could be Cruisers and destroyers. Or the way I do it(although those gunless destroyers look awful) use ww1cruiser for cruisers and ww1transports for destroyers. After all my poor Free French Forces never get to do much…in many games the only sea unit left for Frence by F1 is the Madagascar destroyer(then just use the ww1 cruiser)

Really great video! The Russian counter attacks and Iraq idea are really great! I like to try to take Italia Somaliland too with Russia eventually (easy money for a mech!) One question. Why not leave the Russian sub in 127 in 125 in stead of outside Normandy? It is worth one IPC more, is closer to 127(you can deduct from Germany if he attacks turn 2 in stead of 3), and can hit sea units moving to 127(once I got lucky and got a cruiser and two transports). IMO the best way to do the Iraq thing is this. Turn one move one mech and one tank from Stalingrad to Cacausus. (Yes use the tank! It saves Britain from having to help you[unless they use their air which can sometimes have nothing to do]) Next move one mech from Russia to Rostov. Turn 2 Germany should attack(if not just delay your attack) Now move the tank and 2 mechs to Northwest Persia. Move one fighter and one t bomber to Caucasus. Turn three take Iraq. Move the air to Cacausus. Turn 4 move one tank (or a mechanic if it survives) to Egypt. From there try to get some Italian territories(usually east Africa unless Italy just gave up after Taranto.)

For me I like to split up and encourage exiled governments. It makes game play more fun IMO and adds a nice historical flavor. Generals in London should not have to think about vesting supplies to China…Canada would never have surrendered it Germany made a successful toad over of London…ANZAC was its own country by then. I like having three portions of the British Empire and making Candace and UOSA continue the fight.
