      im fine with the pace. as i am in europe there is a time difference of about 6 hours or something. But its pretty smooth. i can plan moves and so forth in the evening and in the morning. and it seems we are in a really good rythme. As we are both only at around this time, an its 20.00 here in denmark right now.

      the AA only shots in battles on the ground, the Escorts leave before the bombing is done, and therefore its only the 2 Tacs that get attacked by the AB’s AA, as i understand it. Im not to fond of the stratbombing, as it is really risky, and can end in disaster pretty quickly.

      So it would seem that Tacs attack interceptors on @1 and can only bomb Airfields and Naval Bases.

      ah yes, no prob, just carry along and in the end there will be 1 figh and 1 tac on the carrier. :)

      i will copy paste the Strat bombing rules from alpha 2 here, this is the first time i am intercepting and getting bombed in Alpha 2 ;)
      So lets get i right.

      8. Strategic Bombing Raids procedure:
      • Escorts fire @1, and interceptor casualties are immediately removed.
      • Bombers fire @ 1 and interceptors fire @ 2. Remove bomber and interceptor casualties (escorts may be taken as casualties only after all bombers are eliminated).
      • Surviving bombers are assigned a specific target (IC, airbase or naval base) if more than one type is in the territory.
      • The target fires its AA defenses at the attacking aircraft - @1
      • Surviving bombers attack their target, looking for the highest number possible.

      When bombing, each Strategic bomber rolls one die and 2 is added to each die result, giving the total number of hits the target will receive. Gray chips are placed under the target for each hit received.

      Tactical bombers
      Tactical Bombers can also conduct bombing raids. They are limited to attacking only naval bases and airbases, however. Other wise they follow the exact procedure as strategic bombers presented above. When bombing they roll one die. The number rolled is the number of hits the target receives. Do not add to the dice roll when bombing with tactical bombers.

      Can the French fighter in London help to intercept german bombers going for Strat bombing?
      or is it only the power getting bombed that can launch fighters?

      All 4 Fighters in UK will intercept.
      i am not sure the France fighter can intercept? but if it can not, then its only 3 fighters on intercept duty.

      I actually feel a bit bad for doing that move, and i have no problem for the future game to let that move slip and build extra inf. for the carrier in London instead, just to get the game a bit more winnable for you?

      This is also a learning trip for me, and i never though about that tactic before i sitting starring at the map trying to figure out how to hit does undefended transports. ? Let me know, i am more than willing to change the buy and grant you the 9 transports back, as it is a honest mistake, and i want to play the game through with at least some enjoyment for both of us.

      Ill do france now, and you can always just write, ill add, 5 more inf to London and remove the Carrier? and ajust London IPC accordingly?

      Okay Booger-10 now its going to get a little strange, but its a fully legal move by the rules.

      1 Fighter from London to z113 (now this is where it gets a bit downer for the Axis, the fighter will now sink all 9 transports, and land on the newly build carrier in z110. I can place newly build ships even in Hostile seazones as the combat fase is over and there can be no combat. Thus sinking 9 Transports, and as there is no figthers or Tacs in Wgr to Scramble, they are defenceless. I have try to ask on forums if this is legal, and the answer i got from Krieghund was it was a legal move.)
