      exactly 50% if UK goes all out on defense. This would mean, that Germany won’t survive with much left (airforce + groundforces). Russa will be a huge threat and the US can relatively easy free the UK again. If the UK plays bad, then sealion should be quite likeley. This gives Italy some time to get going (so Italy is not boring to play) and if Germany doesn’t proceed with sealion turn 2, but goes Barbarossa, then the UK can fight for Afrika (give Italy a good fight) or try to invade Norway and help out the USSR.

      As the UK was the sole opponent of Germany and Italy for a quite long period, it shouldn’t be unlikely to defend the UK, even if Germany is going sealion at full throttle.

      Sorry, but Germany starts with 30 IPC, therefore you cannot build an Aircraft Carrier (16) and a  Destroyer ( 8 ) ant a transport (7) for a total of 31.

      However, i like game reports with photos. keep on.

      Alpha 3 looked quite good in the beginning, then all those changes came, just because people don’t want to change/rethink their strategies. Thats what a game is all about.
      I think, the best would have been, to change the turn order to:

      Germany
      USSR
      Japan
      China
      USA
      Italy
      UK
      ANZAC
      France

      with some minor changes in Africa and the med. (like removing 1 italian transport, 2 are enough whe they go first, removing some heavy weapons from Africa, leaving mostly Infantry there, adding another Frech ship (whatever) and some anzac ships to the British med fleet). So Italy could take up the fight, and the Med would be much more interesting for even more then one round.
      Maybe France could be allowed to collect money, and if they ever get an industrial complex, they could build as normal. The only chance i see is an French industrial complex in Brasil, and i feel this would add a lot of interesting options to this game. Its way to scripted and lacking options.

      Just my 2 cents.

      I suppose you loose everything except your 3 fighter and the battleship.

      Did you move your fleet from Sz19?

      You are collecting 41IPC because you declared war on the US you don’t collect the 10IPC bonus.

      Because Carriers were already just about the best purchase possible for a large naval buy.
      Now there’s just more incentive to get them; a single loaded carrier will convoy as well as 2 subs now.  This is on top of their phenomonal combat use, especially on defense.
      It’ll be tough to consider buying other surface vessels when carriers are so very superior now.

      I missed this post.

      so, its fine to me, just roll your dice and PLEASE, post ALL non-combat move in one post, so that no move gest lost (if you don’t post your noncombat moves, i have to assume, those pices stay where they were at the beginnig of your turn. This could lead to attacks of allied forces on fleets, you intended to move, but forgot to post. please doubble check your posts before collecting income.

      Sorry, but did you ever play axis&Allies before?
      You collect the money of a captured enemy capitol only once, not every turn. France did not collect income, neither did Germany collect the income of any french terretories it did not occupy. You can only collect income frome terretories you control at the end of your turn. If an friendy nation liberates one of your terretories, you collect this income at the end of your next turn. (Eg. If Italy liberates Holland, Germany collects these 3 IPC at the end of its turn).

      Germany only collects:
      30 IPC (original ter) -3 (holland) + 2 Yugo + 2 Finland +1 Bulgaria + 2 Normandy + 4 France = 38 +10bonus +3 not spend = 51 IPC

      Yes, I ment Novgorod.

      as far as my reccords go, you don’t have any transpots which can reach midway, especially non at sz6.
      Sorry but I dont like pieces appearing from nowhere.
