Captain Jack - I live in Goldsboro, North Carolina. About an hour southeast of Raleigh towards the coast. I enjoy playing AA50, 42.2, G40 and even classic if the opportunity arises. I have a 13 year old son that likes to play as well.

Can someone please explain "bids" to me?posted in Axis & Allies Anniversary Edition
I have recently re-discovered the game and am introducing to my teenagers. I see mentions of bids on here but not sure what everyone is referring to. Is it a way to balance the different scenarios? TIA for any feedback.
