In the new AA42 (the $30 one at target) They typically KGF, if my navy can keep the americans away for just two turns, then Axis wins. ( two turns is all it takes to take one of the alliy factories) in AA50….its more in depth. I hate to say it but it really depends on whos italy. if Italy can distract and pilliage russia. then Axis wins. While germany pwns everything else. AA50 is a lot more fun, because there are a LOT more variables, and (to my knowledge) there isnt any set strategy or correct “always win” strategy. in AA50…its pretty even.

It took a while 20 minutes, a lot of repeats but I did it! I don’t think I would do it again for a something this long.
For the Italian heavy tank I would’ve chosen the Carro Armato P 26/40. Other than that, excellent choices.

I am From america but they arent. Its not a bad thing, uhm from my grandparents prospective they are pro american, but they dont get why americans dont like the french.(neither do I for that matter) lol I’am somewhat swiss. But I am american first if you look at the trend they arent having kids because its too damn expensive to live there. Yeah theyll play as long as they arent germany. everyone else in my family will play if you give russia 5 extra IPC. My grandfather thinks that america overexagerates its victories. I guess hes a little bit right, russia DID make it to berlin first. (I think everyone gets a peice of victory pie)
Thanks for the information, I suck at painting and even if the minitures cost more I think it evens out on time spent on painting or paying someone else to paint it for me.

I would buy “Panzerschiffe” 1/2400 which are smaller than AA Min’s but larger than AAA from the box.
You can get destroyer for $1.50 , cruisers for $3.00 and BB for $5.00
Then paint them what you want.

considering War at Sea box cost $15 for 1 rare, 1 uncommon, and 3 commons And around $10 a box for the land Minis, !r, 2x UC and 5-6 commmons. You want version 1 vehicles though. Version 2 they are bigger, BUT WILL be easier to collect I think

Honestly I can’t answer that……right now. I got most of my units through trading. But I am sure I have spent close to a Grand on all my Axis and Allies stuff put together(Mini’s, Board games, and the Map)

Krieghund: Thanks for the pictures of the units. I try to tell the units apart by size. The biggest naval unit is the battleship, the other one that looks like a battleship but smaller is the cruiser, the skinny one is the destroyer, the aircraft carrier and submaries are the easiest to tell apart, and then you have transports left. With the picture it will be more helpful.
Can you give others unlimited karma? This is like the 10th post that Panzer Leader has given +1 karma today? Is that why some people have +1000 karma and some have -1000 karma. Couldn’t you give yourself + karma to offset - karma?

How much would it cost to get a basic set of Axis and Allies Minatures to be able to use it to play a game of Axis and Allies Spring 1942 Edition? I have no idea how much minatures cost. And where could I go to find cheap minatures.

We can only afford to do the moulds one at a time so we are doing ITALY first. The speed of the other countries will depend on the amount of pre-orders.
Bugoo: great points, but wouldn’t we be back to the Milton Bradley Axis and Allies if we go back to arms being 3-2-2-5, where infantry with artillery would be the best buy? I like the heavy tank at 10, consider it as land fighters.
Does anyone know if artillery would also support mechanized infantry or only infantry? That would make artillery that much more powerful.

I agree with both Jermofoot and Brain Damaged. Face to face is more fun to play. The dice rolls, the trash talk. Also the online play is very confusing for me. I may do but maybe in 4 years?

Well it looks that the only country you’ll be able to beat on is China, but they have lots of men and land to take that will give you little money. I see what is happening now! If you want to do the time honored “sandwich Russia” move you are going to need more income than what China can give you so you are forced to attack the islands and the Philippines and South Asia and Pearl! BRILLIANT! That triggers the entry of the US so immediately you are posed with a two front war for Japan as is Germany. It is starting to make really good sense now……ahhhhh my brain feels better about the pre-order now…
