I believe the Bismarck was scuttled in which the charges were set off before the Royal Navy got the kill.

Regarding Bismarck’s deployment, that was always a standard strategy for most of Germany’s raiders to pass through the Denmark Strait between Greenland and Iceland. After sinking the Hood, I would have just turned back around to Norway. First of all, all of the Home Fleet was after the Bismarck. Second, the Bismarck was leaking oil from the engagement with the Hood and Prince of Whales. Third, Prinz Eugen didn’t have the endurance to keep up with the Bismarck (a bad pairing indeed). Just my thoughts.

Why worry about conquering the oil lands when you can have Russia in about the same time? If you can have the Allies send forces at you in Africa, that is a plus in its self. It keeps them away from Berlin and from helping Russia. If you can get the oil lands, that is the cherry on top.
However, a traditional start in your case is to buy a tranny on first turn and to take out Malta.

Nice strat., but what are your plans for Germany in Africa? This strat. looks as if every resource needs to be devoted to Europe and in turn (no pun intended) Africa will fall quickly to the Allies.

I’m a bit dubious of Germany’s first turn build and I don’t think Germany should be trying to retake Eastern Europe on G2; they should be firmly planted in EE by then. That’s all I have to say.

I’m against reparations also but one counter-point I have been dealt is that the Japanese-Americans who were enslaved in camps during WWII receieved reparations. I believe also that the relatives of the Japanese-Americans who were in the camps received reparations too. So it opens up the doors for the Blacks to get pay back also. If the Japanese-Americans got reparations why can’t the Blacks? That’s what many have been saying to me regarding this issue.

Yanny, your logic is too simplistic. I mean here is an example of your logic….I am smart. Einstein was smart. I must be as smart as Einstein. Yes, there is the threat of Hell but God is merciful and offers the chance for one to change his or her actions and conduct. So a ‘bad’ person isn’t necessarily destined to Hell. He or she has the opportuntiy to change. I’m sure Hitler gave that chance to Rommel and etc.

I feel sorry for the UK in this scenario. It will be easy pickens for Germany in Africa.

It sounds like you and your friends had a blast. Good luck in your future A&A games.

1. You can not land air units on newly occupied and/or conquered territories. However, you can move additional land units onto a newly acquired territiory.

2. A battleship can not bombard coastal teritories unless it is used in an amphibious assalt. And if there is an enemy naval unit in the same sea zone, then the BB loses its one shot bombardment if you use it in the naval battle beforehand. Battleships can not carry any units either.

I hope I didn’t forget anything or just plainly screwd up.
