      @gen-manstein It wouldn’t make a difference because you’re not restricted on tank destroyers. The restriction for heavy’s is that they can only be produced at home territory factories so Germany/USSR are usually the first nations to go for heavy tanks can’t produce them in Poland as example but tank destroyers in comparison is cheaper and no tech restriction. You take the time researching and buying heavy tanks? I respond with much cheaper destroyers who can snipe you right out of the gate.

      Nope I absolutely disagree with Grenade on this. Once again, I am going to beat this dead horse until it gets into the head of the people who wrote the rule book. If you wanted the player to auto move French ships converted to Japanese/German, you would of put it in the rule book. You didn’t, you used the term “sail”. My group basically requires these ships are untouchable by the enemy until they A: return to the new owners home port or B: they engaged in combat and as result, removed their French flag shield.

      Heavy tanks are not as glorious as you think they are. Because I pointed out that if you begin to $hit out tanks, the best response is tank destroyers. They auto target select vehicles on attack 1-3 meaning you can just target any defensive tank at will. Tank destroyers on defense target select at 1-3 with a defensive roll at 4. So on defense, you may not be able to always select aggressor tanks. Heavy tanks look very appealing because they are over powered in the game compared to real life but the counter is absurdly easy.

      It makes no sense to give CCP to the axis in the 2 player version otherwise it makes attacking China as Japan much for painless. With 2 players, you’re going to have to accept a forced truce between the Chinese. And if you ask a lot of experienced players with Japan, there is good strategic value in ignoring China in the short game.

      @jcfloberg13 You can do the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere for Japan. For you to do it historically, you would have to have Japan take over or hold on to Manchuria, China, Siam, India, Philippines, and Vietnam.

      @Chris_Henry Yep that’s the point however it’s risky as well to do it as USSR as you only start with $8 dollars and if you’re Lend-Leasing to both Ethiopia and Republican Spain, you’re not building for yourself.

      @Chris_Henry Yeah there is a lot of in game rules that allow you some freedom if you know what to do. I want to point out that Lithuania doesn’t touch Soviet territory however if you play with the diplomacy expansion, it treats the Baltic States as one nation and until the Soviet-German Pact, it also treats the Baltic States as one nation so I am making the assumption that Lithuania doesn’t count under V3 requirements but you might find some player who would argue against this.

      @Chris_Henry The non aggression pact negates is to reflect the real life situation where the Allies magically ignored USSR invading Poland even though it would allow the Allies to do so in real life since they declared Polish freedom from foreign invasions. Second, The Baltic States are treated as one nation when it comes to political influence. I’m not sure why this is but it is.
