Well the German plan wasn’t terrible overall, he managed to sink the UK fleet around London so we assumed Sealion was going to happen but he never did it. He knew US was going to mass navy to bring forces to Norway, stop it and then bring it to get it in the Med to help Italy stop the UK and French off Egypt where we had a minor factory. It was a solid idea but he messed up by having his navy instead off air force sink UK’s navy thus US sank Germany’s navy. But I never seen someone build the Graf Zepplin and not follow with transports.

I had a Germany who spent turns on navy ironically not for Sealion. As USSR I spent the first turn building infantry and the next two on infantry and arty. I played complete defense and pounded German and Italian forces on defense, I didn’t launch any major offenses until turn 10 and by then, US and UK pulled Overlord and Market Garden and was about liberate France.

What I want to test this by making Canada its own nation, combine UK’s income into one making London the capital. I want to buff the Canadian military by giving it a fighter, maybe one for two more infantry, putting one inf. in Hong Kong, two inf. in London. Canada will go last and France will go first, not sure on National Objectives yet.

I really like the. Commonwealth #2 but it would be interesting to see it as I pointed.

I just played G40 for the first time and I notice Canada has its own markers. Even thought its nation is part of UK’s turn, has anyone ever tried running Canada as their own minor power?

Stalin himself openly said he secretly hoped the Wehrmacht lost a million lives attacking France so Hitler could ask Stalin to join him. Stalin also said he would of gone right to Hitler if France and UK joined Finland during the Winter War, you can’t get more Pro-axis than that.

I know the sitution required for US and USSR to enter the war as an allied nation but G40 clearly is pro allies while in 1940 in real life, USSR was pro axis neutral and US was strict neutral with interest in the allies.

So I am new to G40, I also know that France is done by USSR and China by US. Lets assume France and China are played by themselves (which the rules forbid), anyone tried letting the US and USSR join the axis powers?
