From my perspective I knew I was going to be in trouble after the Carolines disaster, so I stepped up my game. After I destroyed the Italian fleet a few turns earlier than anticipated I felt like there was no longer much the Axis could do.

yah it did get a little bit exciting there toward the end, with all the transport troop movements and then the neutrality busted wide open. in the end, there was just way too much catching up to do…

down for a rematch? but this time I say we go with +3 axis bid for you, since it’s becoming more and more evident that the axis are still at advantage in bm3. in fact, lately at the upper tiers of play, allies have been getting a small bid.

Well, the real reason is i forgot to block the SZ off Burma with my J fleet so I had my turn 3 India plunder.  I straffed Burma and forgot the dd and let him block India.

Right, that would have been pretty game changing. Makes sense why you hit Burma now. Also makes sense why you didn’t worry about claiming the money islands turn 2.
