      Interesting responses, didn’t expect quite an answer!!

      Well, Wittmann was on the same wave length as me, if you want to un block aa guns to allow blitzing to happen, the only way fwd is to attack the AAA guns using your air. Yes very ballsy, but if your desperate, then why the hell not if you have enough air power to do so right?!

      So the order round of your combat would be:

      1. the defending AA gun/s fires it’s AA shot at 1.
      2. your air units ( that survived ) fire on the AA guns
      3. the AA gun gets to defend at 1 or are they out of the game once destroyed in step 2?

      In a territory where there is only the enemy AAA Gun/s, can air on conduct combat attack the AAA gun/s to clear it out of that territory ( after the AAA gun of course fires it’s free shots )?

      Going to continue here in this page:

      Off loading Transports, can you off load troops to more than one territory IF your transport is within other territories in that SZ? For example… SZ 36 in Pacific, can you do a multi drop off your choice, in FIC and Kwangsi?

      Have a situation where Jehol is an open territory but Japan still owns the territory. On Chinas placing new units, can they place them IN Jehol?
      If allowed, do they claim Jehol back?

      Hi SouthsideCH. I am reading this special Tack Rule ( No.2 chart 1 ) for Research & Development. To me it could go both ways as you have questioned. It would be interesting the right answer for groups who do play with R&D.

      2. Rockets. Your air bases can now launch rockets. During the Strategic and Tactical Bombing Raids step of your Conduct Combat phase each turn, each of your operative air bases can make a single rocket attack against an enemy industrial complex, air base, or naval base within 4 spaces of it. This attack does one die roll of damage to that facility. Rockets may not be fired over neutral territories.

      IdaRed, The shelf was a project we felt was something we needed. It does do it’s purpose well.

      Oh yes…

      Next time I get the chance of set up of 2nd edition will do a better job to take a picture showing the whole board making sure all is in the right space.

      Hi…

      Here is the 2nd edition set up for you. Hope this helps!

      The two very bottom corners are cut off due to it’s size, but all the pieces are there to see. It is slightly blury on close up, but this is all I have from my photo’s. If you’re unclear what’s what and where, simply check the set up in the game.

      Could someone please clarify the kamikaze rules? I thought that you could kamikaze any enemy surface warships in the marked zones during combat movement but I guess I’ve been completely wrong this whole time.

      Just to add to Kam rule: Kamikaze can not attack Subs or Transports: So if you go into sz 6, go with a lot of Subs to kill the Japanese navy, but only on attack as a few of you already mentioned. The Japanese player will have to start sacrificing there destroyers if any, which then starts your surprise attacks once destroyers are out of the way.

      Hi…

      1. The USA are not at war, but they have moved some navy down to Australia to join up with the anzac navy.
        If USA decides to move away from that pod if Anzac boats and still not still not at war yet, the navy base the Anzac has, can the USA navy units move 3 sz? I only ask because not being at war they may only be allowed just the 2 sz moves.

      2. Also, with the USA not being at war and has stayed amungst the Anzac navy, if japan approached an attack, can japan NOT attack the USA but only the Anzac navy?
