Just a note to say what a great 1st time Axis & Allies 1940 Global 2nd Edition tournament you held here in Toronto. To see faces Globally who attended the weekend from Europe and North America, You Tubers and locals here in Toronto, what a cracking bunch. The love and support we all put in to put Toronto on the map for hard core Axis & Allies players.

Larry Harris, what a champion to attend both full days in Scarborough, location of Toronto 6sided Convention. You are a pleasure to meet and what a lovely person you are, to talk to and sign memorabilia.

For those who are flying in to Toronto… there are two airports:

YYZ ( Canadians use funny unusual airport codes! ) which is Pearson, which is well established already on this thread - 40 mins away aprox from the down town core, all airlines ( give or take )

YTZ which is Toronto Island which flies directly to the downtown core. Air Canada and Porter Airlines fly in and out from here, but it is limited on destinations.

Just thought I’d point this out for those who are visiting TO for the first time.

That is what I am assuming, plan your transport loads carefully!

I get it that once the transports stops, that’s it, no more allowed movement once offloaded in a coastal territory.
Can the AA gun or does the AA gun too get off loaded as well and not take part in the attack, or both infantry and AA don’t get to off load?

Anyone…What is the solution please!

Hi friends…

I was wondering what happens if you encounter an amphibious assault, and on your 1 transport is one man and also the other slot is an AA gun which you’d want to land after the hopeful successful amphibious attack during non combat move.

I’d assume the AA gun can land in the territory because your transport has stopped and is still off loading, even tho not at the same time waiting in anticipation what to do with the left AA gun.

Is this allowed: infantry gets off, fights then AA gun off loads in non combat?

When the carrier is damaged, the planes continue fighting. But they will not be able to land on the damaged carrier.

But they have one space to land safely though don’t they? on a non damaged AC within one air space, or if that SZ battle has an island and you have ownership of, the one space can land there?
