Haven´t really played much with bids and when I have, I have never had more than 10 IPCs to spend.
Now I am about to play a game as the Allies and with 20 IPCs to spend thanks to a most generous Axis bid.
Would it be legal to place a UK minor IC in Egypt? (Triple A allows it)
I am not saying the IPCs can´t be spent more wisely, but I like the idea of a minor IC in Egypt from round 1 and I still got enough IPCs left for a sub or dd in SZ 98…

My friend and I are looking for 2 opponents for a PBEM game. We have a few games under the belt playing against each other but we would like to play against a team. We only play Global 1940, second edition.
Game preferences can be discussed. We imagine a game with bids for the allies and preferably no tech.
I must insist on playing with dice since I have no experience with low luck games :-)
We have had some success changing the order of nations; 1: Germany, 2: Japan, 3: Russia, 4: USA, 5: China, 6: UK, 7: ANZAC, 8: France and 9: Italy. When doing this we have also moved 3 Russian inf from Amur. It gives a smooth game and has in our experience not been a game changer.

Yup, makes Subs super powerful
I accept the answers given, but in my opinion fighters should be considered as cargo if the AC is attacked only by subs and there is no destroyer - at least during the first round of combat. It would make the rules even more complicated, but at least people wouldn´t leave an AC floating unescorted.
