haha, i hear you on the wishing of good luck - i did that a few
times and regretted it.  i never wish good luck, i just wish
that the dice are REASONABLY fair, ie, not TOO lopsided one
way or the other.  :wink:  of course in our game 2, i would appreciate some compensatory good luck on my G1, which you can have back later in the small skirmishes.  :wink:

I actually lost only 50%, and if I had got better dices, I’m sure Bold would have played differently anyway…

And I do not believe that I should play a league game if I play it as a friendly game, specially since I will never play enough games this year to really be part of the league. I’ll just find another player to try the allies later on, when my schedule will be less busy (not before the end of the month I believe)

problem is, i don’t know a much better strategy to come at japan than we employed.  i know it could be better, but i don’t know if it could be ENOUGH better to reach a tipping point in the pacific early enough.    just some thoughts, please feel free to enlighten me.

I of course am far away from having an answer on that but as we discussed yesterday I was wondering if a KFJ could be faster and more painful for Japan if directed from Caroline Islands with constantly threatening sz6 but also harass the money islands. This could imo also give Anzac more chances to have an impact.
However the sz6 containment of course gave the option to get the Russians into play which was also annoying, but maybe not annoying enough than losing the money islands, who knows^^

Plus: In case Japan goes a lot of air and not so much fleet, more subs could be an answer.
But as usual the devil lies in the detail and any approach stands and falls by the execution.

We did not even discuss yet the fall of India and if that was inevitable and how the game would have gone with India in the game for longer.

I have plenty of ideas, but sadly none of them concern the problem you are describing right now.

Bold, please understand that there is a world of difference between supporting someone’s decision and supporting someone’s right to make the decision. Do I agree with what he did: no. But, I support his right to be able to do so. It’s like the political loonies on cable TV. I don’t support 99% of what any of them say, but I wholeheartedly support their right to say it.

ok i get it.  thanks zigg.  i agree he has the right to say whatever he wants to as well.  i just vehemently disagree with what he is saying.  ironically, i believe he is trying to use the rules to game ME (meaning myself).  :-)  problem is, he also has contradicted himself in the process.
