I looked last night. Could only find info on first landing march 1941. Used mainly italian ships. Sent in small task forces. They only offloaded transports during the day. Showed the naval casualties and which ship caused it. Didnt have info on 2 later build ups or regular resupply. But knowing how important the ports were and that you can build a runway almost anywhere, i would infer they used mainly ships, not planes.

Nope. Facility aa only fires at the bombers directly attacking it. Unit aa guns only fire if their territory is being attacked.
Side note, it would be cool if aa could chose to defend air or ground combat. Like german 88s being used as anti tank guns and 20mm being used against infantry and lite vehicles. Oh well. Back to the game.

Uk/anzac have special rule with dutch and can noncom take over dutch territories with inf, mech, art or tank. No other nation can do this.
Only nations at war can enter another nations land territory. Neutral us or ussr may not leave their borders for any kind of land movement.
Who ever told you you can noncom friendly occupied territories was wrong ( except for my opening point above)
Feel free to disagree with the rules, but they are the rules. You can always mod them, but sometimes that badly unbalances the game.

I need to warn you all to have your cameras out as you unbox your 2017 copy of Anniversary. After watching Pink Panzer’s video online and how his storage boxes and rulebook were smashed inside despite a pristine outer box, I was ready to video my entire opening. Good thing I did as mine looked the same if not worse than his. I have forwarded some pics to Wizards Customer Support and will advise you all of what happens.

So what did the wizards of avalon say?  I have 2 messed up parts boxes and 4 us/5 russian artillary with stress creases where they weren’t taken off the sprues properly

How does it compare with sculp size? Can it be integrated into A&A?

I like the larger scale for most of the pieces. Can i get them at the smaller scale price? :-D

First, an axis player would have to capture FIC. Then an allied player would have to capture it back. If paris is in enemy hands, you would take control until paris is freed of axis domination. If paris is already french owned, france would have control of the newly liberated FIC

All nations must combat move all enemy nations in order to take control.
You cannot take control of fellow alliance unless liberating the territory and their capitol is enemy held.
Only exception is Uk/ anzac can only take control of dutch controlled in noncom. ( and friendly neutrals).

Bjn, it would be a DOW on anzac because japan would be attacking the anzac infantry stationed in FIC.

Anzac can only convert control of fic if its axis held and paris is axis controlled. If france isnt axis controlled, fic is liberated. If fic isnt axis controlled, allies cant take control

Im not official but ive read enuff.  If their is no sea battle, only offloaded tts and bombarding units attacked. Say i have 2 tt 1 cc 1 bb. 1 tt off loads n bb bombards. The other tt n cc can move ncm.
A potential scramble does allow you to move out in combat move.

The inside boxes of italians and shared pieces crushed. 4 us artillery damaged legs. Still need to look at other 5 nations. All my us pieces are the same molds as the 1940s game but bombers have tapered wings with slightly different angle

I plan on getting ebards lrg vc sets. About $100 there.
I like chips, so got black n reds100/150 for facility damage and whites and reds200/100 for troops from hbg. $3 for50. Neutral infantry 10$7 @ hbg Downloaded square aircraft movement markers printed on thick card. Printed YGs NO cards. Blast markers to mark each battle. Waiting on magnets to magnetise aircraft carriers….
