      For instance, even if Warsaw falls to the Germans, Polish forces in E and W Poland do not move only defend.

      Italy can build the Tobruk factory and take Greece. It’s becoming the new standard move for Italy.

      However Italy can’t get move their navy now until turn 3 or 4. Even then they usually go into North Africa away from the UK.

      I really actually like that the UK can hurt Italy now. However, both Germany and Italy are now too weak with navy. It just puts the game out of balance in Europe now IMO. UK now controls what Germany and Italy does too early.

      Of course Japan has lots of extra fun in this scenario.

      To the designers - how many games of 7.1 have you played?

      Out of 6 games we have played Axis won once but that was mainly due to good rolls in first turn.

      Axis have never taken all of Russia’s cities. In 5 games they never held a single Russian cities for more than 1 round. I wouldn’t even say Russia is too strong. The Baltic States/Poland issue definitely buys Russia an extra round (even though it only addresses the center).

      It’s the 1st turn that is the issue now it seems. Germany and especially Italy can’t seem to get enough of the UK navy, planes, and infantry out of the way. I think 6.1 was 60/40 Axis favor but I’m thinking now it’s 80/20 Allies favor.

      It seems there could be possible rule misinterpretations from various people on the board. What is the percentage breakdown for the designers win/loss in 7.1?

      i like the convoy zone optional rule, however i believe there should be a qualification that the axis still only gain the income on an actual roll of a 1.  this would represent the fact that subs can’t steal cargo, their sole goal was to destroy merchant ships not seize them.

      i think it was a great idea to lower the prices for both germany/japan and the allies.  when i played as britain in 6.1 i wanted to buy commandos every turn because they can do so much, but towards the end britain just didn’t have the ipcs.

      Holland rules are very difficult to understand. I hope they get fixed along with everything else. 1 of the Russian national advantages means the games is already over so it’s superfluous.

      I hope you keep the game like it is now where Germany/Italy don’t have to attack UK/France/Poland/etc. for the first few turns, but I doubt that was the intent of the designers. It’s a lot of fun seeing France as tough as Germany on the Western front in those scenarios.
