Latest addition to the Japanese planes. Got 5 in this color, 4 left to do a second color scheme

That’s still something I am torn on. I am worried about spacing and not making Europe overly crowded in certain territories, and I was kind of looking at making Germany have access to almost all of France once they conquer Belgium (much like they did in real life). I am still working on it and that is still something I am considering though

Thanks. I am trying for a more complex map with likely more complex house rules applied to a variant game. It likely will not be welcomed by many gaming groups but a game with more complexity and more variability fits my groups desire so that is the way I am going with my project.

What OS are you using? Windows. I believe its fully up to date.
Which version of inkscape? Does 0.92 sound like it may be the correct edition?
What exactly are you using inkscape for? Create vector graphics? Drawing on Imperious Leaders Map to design my own variation.
What are you doing “on a map”? What format is the “map-file”? I am drawing over the map to create my own.  svg file
What are you doing when saving? Do you save it as *.svg-file? I such save it as is and yes it is an svg file.
What are you saving? The map plus drawings on it.
How are you opening the file? Clicking open, then double clicking the file.
What exact error message do you get? Oddly enough the file just opened after trying it… of course after 50 times of trying it won’t work until I ask for help. I will see if this remains successful or if the message comes back

Not sure if this is the right place for this topic but I know it was in here that inkscape was recommended to me. As a program I love what I can do to images and have made great progress on a map, several times actually doing the same thing due to technical issues. But once I am done for the day I want to be able to save my file AND reopen it. Every way I try to save this file I cannot open it. The file exists but when I try to open it I am told it cannot be done. Does anyone in here have experience with inkscape that can help explain this to me?

I figured you guys could tell what it was going for, what I meant was it looks more yellow in the picture than it does in does when you hold it in your hand. But thank you I hopefully will have more to show soon. I hope to have the entire OOB Japanese air force done within two weeks of now. I am waiting to place an order from HBG that will give me some new Japanese aircraft but I am not counting that in the air force yet

Mr. Tricorder, you said you have used inkscape before. When working on this map it began placing white squares anywhere I attempted to draw. It wasn’t actually placing the blocks there just displaying them. What I mean is it would still draw the color I wanted where I wanted but would display a big white box over where I was attempting to draw until I zoomed either in or out. Because of this I tried to save my work and reopen it and see if that would work. Now when I reopen the file there is nothing there, not the original map or the map plus my edits. Any idea what may have happened?

Working on Inkscape to customize a map. Here is Italy so far. There is little cosmetic things that need adjusting but its a start. Any suggestions?
