Yes your just paying for the privilege of getting more movement, but the base can scramble fighters against the sea zone where the island is located if the enemy decided to move in this area. It also gets an AA roll against attacking planes that may try to attack the small island.

Bases’ built-in AA protection is only against SBRs on the bases themselves.  It does not apply to normal attacks against the territory.  You still need an AA gun for that.

Is the rolling system for AA guns changed at all?

If minor IC cost $12 and major IC cost $30 why would the upgrade be $20 and not $18 (30-12=18)???

If you need it sooner but can’t afford a major one.

They provide anti-air cover for either naval or air units and naval bases let naval units travel an extra space between bases, and air bases allow air units to travel one extra space.

Already been confirmed that their only unique sculpt is infantry. Would be nice though.

Try RISK, if you want simple games.  Handing Vichy France over to the Allies doesn’t make sense.

I was simply stating their mindset. I’m pretty certain what I said is already confirmed. Forgive me if I’m mistaken though.

does anyone know why the French will only have a unique infantry mold? What happened to the Char b1, or the Dewoitine D.520? What about its naval units?

It wouldn’t really make sense if all it used was British/American molds.

It’s all about costs dude. You’re not going to see the French very much, I’m happy to even get French dedicated pieces in general.

I’m pretty sure what happens is that the French units/territories are all controlled by UK, even if France does fall. Though not historically accurate it makes things a lot simpler.

I’m assuming so. At least in djensen’s game the USA player took Korea and then liberated manchuria for china.
