      @Titus

      Nice work. The first batch, the cover I assume, seems a little dark to me. If it looked like the ones below it, which shows what they do, I think would look better.

      Just an opinion of course :) Some cool ideas in there RightArm.png

      @gamerman01

      Hi
      I can’t find the map. Downloaded classic but says I need “classic league” . Do you know where I can find it ?

      Actually, Panther knows the most about how triplea works. 2.6 and 2.7 saves should be ( actually they are ) compatible. If you have a change to the map xml though, they won’t be.

      So I DL’d Classic but it doesn’t work with your save.

      Yea, I think it usually says what’s been changed on the prerelease.
      https://github.com/triplea-game/triplea/releases/

      I would probably just use the latest actually. I just use 14962 because I haven’t really had any problems with it. Sometimes the new ones will have a bug introduced that needs to then be fixed.

      Anyway, when I get the right map, I’ll see if I can open it.

    • How to have 2.5 Stable and the Prerelease both Installed

      you can have 2.5, which works in the lobby, and the prerelease both installed. The prerelease won’t work with 2.5, so switch back and forth if using a save from the prerelease and lobby games.

      yea so you should DL latest pre and use that. You can keep 2.5 for 2.5/lobby games as the pre isn’t compatible with it.

      Here’s a link if needed :)

    • RE: High School Axis & Allies 1941 Club

      @FranceNeedsMorePower

      I would search the History here. I remember years ago an Army instructor used it in one of the classes he taught. Think he used the basic 1942 mod.
      There were others who proposed, or actually did use it, in a formal setting.

      Talk to some of the History teachers. Probably your best bet. If they’re not interested, they might know people who are.

      For those in other countries like Canada, that’s and America place.

      heh heh plenty of Americans don’t know where Ohio is either :)

      Edit
      Ideally the Teacher would be an experienced A&A player. If not though, they could learn along with the class. I believe computers are used more than pen and paper these days but I don’t really know :)

      If so, and you have a large monitor, you could divide the class in half and use triplea. Give each side like 3 choices to use per turn and let their teammates decide what to do.

      If the Teacher isn’t familiar with A&A but is receptive to it as a teaching tool, you could ask members here for their imput on what each sides choices should be.

      It can teach computer skills in how to set up triplea, as well as being helpful in History, Geography ( although some maps a little sketch on that ) and problem solving. And it might even be fun lol

      Idk of any teachers on here but I’d be surprised if there aren’t some :) You should also check the triplea site history as well.

      And if triplea doesn’t work, you need to expand the project in a different direction and have a Huge map printed that everyone can sit around General staff mode lol

      Or maybe break into 3 groups 5 a side or whatever. Idk how big classes are these days. They ran about 20-25 half a century ago :)

      Just some thoughts. I’m sure others will have better ideas :)

      Good Luck

      @Alexander

      hmm … did you try gmx or proton ? They work and don’t require a ton of personal information. Or at least they didn’t used to.

      I suggest giving one of those a shot and if still no go, we’ll call in Panther. He’s the head of tech support :)

      Just for giggles, what triplea engine version are you using ?

      Hang in there. We’ll get it sorted :)

      once you register at Marti it will say if it was successfull.

      here’s register link https://dice.marti.triplea-game.org/

      Also, in case you forgot Panzer, you need to hit test server at start of game. I think it’s a marti issue though.

      gmx.com and proton mail will both work if your current doesn’t

      @jim010

      They did make a small attack when the Wehrmacht was in Poland. They backed away quickly as soon as they met resistance.

      Something to remember is WWI was basically 20 years earlier. The guys in charge and most everyone else for that matter, were expecting something similar.

      Chemical weapon use was still an unknown at that time as well and would be for most, if not all of the war.

      At any rate, their tactics were outdated. Same as soviets. Took a couple years of getting their ass kicked before they figured it out.

      Plus the the Wehrmacht was methed out of their minds early in the war. It finally caught up to them and they all had to take a nap :)

      Hi guys

      Yea you should be using one of the 2.7’s. I use 2.7+14962 which is way behind but works for me :)

      Post your error at triplea support if you can’t get it sorted.

      Thanks for posting the rules Panther. It looks as if only 2 Commanders work in the Global game which is what I play.

      This makes no sense to me. Why would you want a Commander if you’re the USA ? You can’t go to TTys with a NB ?

      Edit
      Seems pretty light on information. There must be more to the rules than what is listed

      As Panzer says, you can register by hitting the register button. It will take you here https://dice.marti.triplea-game.org/

      As Panzer also states, you will want to use a game email or use a filter like he does. You’d have to ask him how todo that though :)
