yea so your email in first space his in next space. I always give a game Name as I think it’s needed for people who use PBF. Thtey are interchangeable. PBEM/PBF

So Game 1 newenr E 40 OOB or some such. Then do test server and select PBEM or PBF and you should be good to go.

JPN has 2 NMs in 26 SZ defending against 25 SZ. Vessels from 26 SZ can then move into 25 SZ without rolling for the NMs ?

Correct ? Or is 26 and 25 now mined in both directions ?

The NMs are defending in 26 at 25 which means that any ship going to 25 from 26 must cross them

When I select a new/different page in a topic, it won’t take me there. Tried on House Rules Play Boardgames and Triplea Support.

Exited the site and tried again. Tried refresh as well. No go.

Now I get invalid API call when trying to post this. Haven’t seen that before.

yea since it’s an amphib attack easiest way is probably to just fight the battle in edit and adjust for any LM hits and obviously don’t count any of the yank hits that woulda been blown up.

Just have to be deliberate and double check.

Otherwise you have to do it at end of CM undo the turn again make the adjustments and reattack.

If it wasn’t a amphib then you could just edit the results before the battle starts and then switch to normal but triplea won’t let you remove amphib units without removing the Trprt and since they’re in 2 different spots you can’t do that either.

Also if only 1 battle you have to be in edit at end of CM as it’ll go straight to battle and not give you a chance to turn edit on.

You have to fight the whole battle in edit then.

yea that’s it but you have to undo the USA attack on JPN itself and then add the 2 dudes and token or they won’t work even though they show up.

Just run a test in local if you haven’t already and see that it works

Did you add the 2 JPN Inf for Home Defense ? You have to do that before any attackers move into JPN or they’ll still showup but won’t fire and be ignored as hits too.

Once you get that done you will need to download a prerelease. We don’t want the most recent as they are still being fine tuned.

Install

Note it usually takes 3 times to go to 100% and then back to 0% and then 100 again. It was worked on and maybe the newer pre has fixed it but that’s how it does it for me.

So wait until it just stops on 100%

Close takes you back to Start Screen. Then Select Game

The first notification will tell which Game Version you have. 2.54 is latest

To have only certain “Game Options” selected after selecting the game but before starting it go to “Game Options”

The ones on the left are mostly just triplea stuff. You can see Type XXI U-boats bottom of 5th row. If you don’t want to use them, simply deselect.

Note after a game starts you can save and before you restart you can deselect or select an Option. It won’t kick in until Germany’s next turn though. Also it will still show up in the TimeTable.

If deselected before you first start the game it won’t show up. I’ll try and fix it for if you forget after Game Start to turn something off like I always do but then we usually have all options on :) Trout and I have started not using the XXI U-boats.

The Help tab top left has the in game “Game Notes” that explains how triplea implements the HRE rules.

Didn’t used to be like that but i bitched for years about the change and was ignored as usual.

Anyway, you’ll want to read those. They’re mostly up to date but I’m still clarifying certain things and some of it has become dated. It’s mostly accurate though.

So if you can get triplea installed, which I believe you have in the past or perhaps that was someone else’s machine, you’ll be pretty much good to go.

So most likely if you have any trouble it will be with the install. If we have to, we’ll ask Panther to help but I think you should be OK.

Just hit yes on all the prompts and then follow the Dogs instructions for having multiple tripleas installed. He’s on windows so should be easier to follow.

This is what my Triplea looks like after it’s installed. I have a Big T TripleA and a small t triplea.

The Big T is where the releases go and some other stuff

Missed a shot. This is the Big T folder

So you can see 14962 is in there and then I have another release 15330 which is in a different folder. That’s basically how you have more than one.

The small t folder is the one you’ll be using. That’s where the downloadedMaps and savedGames are

savedGames you’ll be using a lot. You’ll be adding and deleting to them as your games progress.

The hilighted one is our current multi with Alex Panzer and Trout :)

All the final saves are in the Game Threads but I have them all saved in a separate folder as well.

If I ever get real bored or find the time I’ll update Victory’s spreadsheet thingy with all the results :) Have to figure out how to do it first :)

Oh yea I probably should put this up top but you will want a game specific email for the die rolls and to register with the Marti dice Server. You should use either protonmail or GMX as they both work.

Idk if gmail or the yahoos are working now or not.

Yea once the NAP kicks in the Mongolians become True Neutrals. So an attack on them is an attack on all.

Right now triplea will allow SSR to attack them separately. I will probably update at some point but it is rare although not unheard of. It’s just a pita todo lol

Yea the Rail can still be used. You’ll have to edit.

Reminder, in HRE, if you can’t liberate Moscow after one full turn after it falls starting at the time it fell, it is Game Over, as long as you still have Tokyo and Berlin.
