One of our members has the game - I have seen it and shortly studied it.

It is very similar to Avalon Hills Third Reich which we played back in the 90’s.

We found inspiration from some of these rules and have adapted them into the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion.

Haven’t played 42 hardly at all. His other mods, 41 and 39, especially 41, seem very balanced. I think if you haven’t played it much, I’d just roll with no bid for starters.

No they will still win both combats. But it will cost them more units.
Gemany cannot afford to lose most of its planes there, and a bad roll of the dice can really screw up german plans.
