      I like also as Lozmoid, to see an additional “Collect Income Window”, where I can directly see how much income I have and where I´m being convoy raided especially if there will be a timer function in the near future.
      Because, than time is valuable and it will cost time to search and look in the game history! Please keep that in mind Veqryn.

      Damage Marker
      To see how much damage a factory has, I can´t see it by pressing “I” or in the territory tab, I need to look in the game history right?

      Blockade optinal
      There is no option at the moment, if I wan´t use blockade right now or?,
      Example, I have 1 Carrier with 2 Fighters in SZ 109, but I wan´t use blockade in SZ 109 and I don´t want move the carrier away, because I would like to occupy London next turn and I want all the PUs.

      Yes Zhukov I agree definitely, I grow up with playing in the warzone and there it is normal that you have a timer, so i´m missing one :-).
      After some games with TripleA in Global 1940 I agree to play without a timer when I play with new players, but sometimes I would really love to see one, because if I have, lets say 4-5 Hours time, and than one player needs more than 1 hour to finish his turn that is hard and painful. �

      @)…to the point where playing on GTO is frustrating to me, because some small dumb error attributable to a timer could cost me or my opponent the game. I’d rather give my opponent the opportunity to play his best possible game, although obviously there should be rational limits on edits.

      I agree again Zhukov, one small dumb can cost you the game, but that is the reason why I love it.
      I think against a fair sportsman or in a fun game, it is not necessary to activate a timer but if you decide to do it that can give the game this special character with an adrenaline kick.
      The biggest problems which I can see with a timer at the moment, is to move and load/unload all your tranny´s, because you need really be used to with the TripleA game engine.
      I need a lot of more testtime maybe than I will give a feedback, for the monent I have to learn to used it properly.
      Is there an faq outside for new players how to handle (Move, Load and Unload) Trannys, with examples because exact with this have most of the newest players problems.

      @ Edit Mode confirm
      Yes i can ask them or him, but if they can do it, probably they do it.
      And it is absolutely ok for email or forum games, but from my point of view i would really wish an option to confirm “edit” in an online game. It makes an online game to another experience if you know you can´t edit your faults if your opponent not confirm to edit them.

      @ Save confirm
      Copy that, no more discussion, the roots from tripleA is email game and there is it perfect if i can save all the time.
      A timer would solve this problem, so if it is on your “ToDo” List than it is perfect for me!

      @ Game Variants
      ok i understand that everybody can modify the gamefile, but than all players which want to play with this option, have to download the modified map, right?  
      And exactly that is not what i mean. My idea is to keep it simple especially for new players.
      All this different version confuse them more than they would help. The idea is, that all have the same game version, lets say global 1940 (2nd Edition). Now if they want, they can activate an game option and play easily all together.

      @ Global 1940 specific improvement
      I think because i´m not an native speaker it was not so clear what i want to say, so please give me another try. You veqryn are an expert and the developer from TripleA, you know this game so much better than other players. See it as a compliment, not all new players know all the rules, so like me sometimes they miss something because of all this changes from Larry from OOb to Alpha 1,2 and 3+. Now they download TripleA and than they notice, hey i can activate an Pro Allies with an aa gun only. And because, your engine is so amazing, they believe this is allowed. Yes you are right it is in the game notes, but believe me not all players read them, maybe they speak English not so good.
      You can read a lot of topics here in the forum, where people ask: i can do this in TripleA is it not allowed? Again, this should be a compliment for you because you do a so great job that players say, if this is possible in TripleA than it must be an official rule. That is the reason why i ask you to fix it, to help that TripleA gets better and better, and get more accessible for newer players which are not an expert and knows all the rules, and no problem because TripleA handle it for them. Â

      Hi Veqryn,

      after spending several time on the TripleA Online Lobby some suggestions:

      @ Feature Request “Register Players only” for Online Games
      So the following situation happens sometimes. I create a lobby game, someone enter  the game, he does some silly things, and than quite the game. Thxs.
      The reason why people can do this, is because it is to easy to login as anonymously, so here i would wish an option to “active” (checkbox) that when i host a game only registered players can join my game because these players are normal seriously.

      @Feature Request “Edit Mode” confirm from your opponent
      I´m a big fan from online games, and so its normal that in an online game i made some mistakes or sometimes a lot of mistakes, and that is it why i prefer so much this kind of game, because i have to live with my mistakes,  but what i really don´t like is when players all the time use the edit mode because they made a mistake and than use it to correct it.
      Please note that, the edit mode is a perfect tool for me, but when i play an online game in the lobby, i wish an option that i can only edit the game if my opponent agree and confirm that i can use the edit mode. No more discussing, if my opponent denies that, i have to live with it, this is legal for both sites. Nobody seriously would deny to correct an error when there is a problem with the game engine or the rules.

      @Feature Request " Save" confirm from your opponent
      So if you decide to play a lobby game, you think your opponent has the same problems like you to decide what to do and how to move in a small windows of time. But i played guys, they need more than an hour for their turn. They save the game, transfer the save file to an notebook where another version of tripleA is running, test all their moves and counterattacks and than made their turn.
      If they cant save without the confirmation from their opponent maybe this would help.
      The other possibility is maybe a timer in lobby games. What do you think?
      If both is not possible, maybe than i become at least an information that my opponent has saved the game. So one agreement can be no save before you complet your turn.
      It is absolutly ok to test all moves and counterattacks in an email or forum game, but not in an online game.

      @Feature Request “More Game Options”
      I would like to see more game options, for example in global 1940 that inceptors hit with @2 instaed of @1. So it is clear Veqryn, that you can´t build in all variants that one player propose to you, but lets say what is when you open a tread in the lobby and when more than 20 or 35 players or what you think is a good number, wish this option you can implement it into the game options if it is not to much work for you.

      I can activate in TripleA a territory with only an aa-gun, but it is not allowed in the normal rules. It is not a big thing, but nice if you can fix it in the next version.

      So can an US harbour repair an UK Battleship ?

      I´m pretty sure in one Alpha Version it was not possible.

      Hm maybe this has changed from Alpha to Alpha Version so I need to ask:

      my question is, can Japan use Kamikaze if Japan attacks the US Fleet ( 3BS, 2 Carrier) in Iwo Jima, with 2 BS and 2 Cruiser or is Kamikaze only for defence?

      Can UK in NCM move a transport with only a AAgun to sz 86 than unload the transport to activate Brazil with only a AAgun?

      I´m not sure if the thread is still open, but i post some feature request for TripleA here:

      1 @__Feature__ Request “Delete Button” for older Saved Games.
      It would be nice when i load a save game, if it is also possible that i can directly delete older saved games in/with the same windows.

      2 @ Feature Request: “Center Button” after an air attack

      Example:
      I attack with Fighters Seazone 116. Sink the enemy fleet and the fighters survive.
      Then i conduct several other combats everywhere on the map.
      In the End of the “Non Combat Phase”, a windows pop up, “Air unit can´t land”.

      I can press now “Keep Moving” or “End Move Phase”: seazone 116

      Is it possible to pop up a marker/button with “center” like it is in the Combat phase, in the same windows so that Triple A directly goes to seazone 116 where i have to move the airplanes when i press this new center marker/button?

      Especially for beginners, that would be a great help because it is not so easy to explain them how they can find seazone 116, if there was several fights one the map.

      3 @ Feature Request “Additional Windows for IPC Infos”
      An extra/additional windows before i start my turn, where i can see exactly how much IPC i had last round and how much i have in this round.
      It should also show where and how much IPCs i lost from blockade. Maybe in the Game option i can choose to activate this optional windows, because in a email game it is certainly not necessary but in an online game it would make the game flow more smoother and faster, because it is not necessary to open the game history.

      4 @ Feature Request “Timer” for Online Games
      I´m a big fan from online games and therefore an option to play with a timer would be nice. The reason for a timer is that you have than only let´s say 20 minutes to react and you don´t have the time to test several movers, battle calculator etc.
      So both sides makes failure because of the pressure to end their turn into the time limit.

      A @  more improvement, than an Feature Request (Map global 1940 Alpha +3)

      When there is a Major Factory, it should not be allowed to build an additional Minor Factory at the same time.
      Maybe there is a rule , which i don´t know, but i should get a warning, that i can´t place more Minor IPCs in a territory with a major Factory. The same thing, it should not be allowed from the engine to build more than 1 Minor IPCs pro territory, because you can only mobilise 3 unit there.

      Handling Triple A: Close a windows
      When a windows for example “End Move” is open it looks like i can close it per keyboard, with pressing  Ja (German=Yes) or Nein (German=no). But i can´t close it with j or y.
      This is maybe we have installed windows or java in german?

      You are right that an experienced player would not attack an True Neutral with Anzac, but that is not the point. We have a lot of beginners, players who are interested to learn Axis & Allies Global.
      We figured out, that it is the best thing, to let them play like they want, if you always says no, that is a bad move, they loose very fast the fun and you see them never again. But if you let them play like they want (according to the rules of course) and we are talking about a game newby against newby, they have fun and we saw a lot of crazy but interesting games.
      And the best of all is, most of this newbys come back and so more people play Axis & Allies and i hope use later TripleA.
      So if there is no rule that says you can´t attack True Neutral with Anzac, than please build it in, if it is not to much work for you.

      That is only my opinion. You do an excellent job with TripleA and so please don´t see it as critic, see it to help TripleA to get better and all in all to find more players, especially beginners because you don´t need to convince the experts they love your tool but the trick to earn new players is the accessibility of TripleA and as much more rules are implemented more beginners will be interested in Triple A.

      Hi all,  :-D

      Question: blockade
      This is a be tricky to explain, but i will try it.
      Lets take seazone 106 but this also happen in all zones with the convoi symbol.
      Germany attacks in round 1 with a submarine, the UK has a destroyer and a transporter.
      Germany wins, the submarine survived.
      The seazone is now “Current Owner German”. Next turn the submarine leave seazone 106 but the seazone is further on “Current Owner German”. If UK buys now a transporter in seazone 106, he can load the transporter in the next round only in the “Combat round”, not in the “Non combat round”, because the current owner is still germany. Is this a rule of alpha +3, where can i find it in the rulesbook?

      Especially for newbys is it very painfull to examine all seazones to check them, “Can i load my transport in the Non Combat phase?”.
      A lot of the times, someone forget it and that can decide games.
      How do you handle it?

      Question to Anzac:
      Why can´t Anzac attack a True Neutral, lets say Chile in south america if they want to do this? I don´t say it´s smart but we have often new players and they want do it.
      All powers can declare war to true neutral, but not the Anzac can do this. We figured out, when france declare war on the true neutral, than anzac can attack them, but this not a good idea because axis can now occupy true neutrals long before it is anzac´s turn.

      Convoy Question:

      Germany has 4 Subs in seazone 109. This will cost UK the maximum of IPCs, 8 for United Kingdom and 2 for Scotland. We guess the convoy cost of any sub is 3 instead of 2.
      It’s the turn from UK now. UK has nothing to destroy the 4 german subs, so UK decide to build a destroyer and in sequence 5 Mobilize, UK place the new destroyer in seazone 109. So there is no combat!
      Can UK than in sequence 6 “Collect Income” gets all his normal IPC because of the presence of the destroyer or can germany destroy 10 IPC?

      Thxs again Krieghund and gamerman for your answers.

      Actually I m writing a german Alpha 2+ guide which is most in relation to what I have found here in this forum. Its quite hard to read more than 100 sites, if you are not a native speaker but also very interesting and I have learnd a lot from this “incredibles” support here.

      The guide is almost 40 sites now with a lot of examples from the questions in this tread.
      An Introduction, Victory Conditions, Border Spaces, Neutrals, Land Movement, Air Movement, Sea Movement, Knowledge about every Country, lineup, the new NO´s and finally some houserules which sounds interesting.

      We play next weekend our first global game with same friends, maybe I have some more questions than.

      If somebody is interested to get a copy of it, if it is finish, please feel free to contact me.

      When can we expect the offcial faq for alpha 2+ ?

      I need a clarification: Rules Alpha2+

      Someone ask: are Greece and Turkey connected?
      Answer Krieghund: Greece and Turkey are connected by land.

      So Turkey is not longer a Narrow strait, I don’t need transports to reach the other side, this has changed from the Europe rulesbook?
      So Danish is the only narrow strait without an exception. Because Turkey is connected to land and subs is allowed to pass gibraltar.

      If I wonna move warships from seazone 99 to 100 which territories I have to control?
      1.)Only turkey
      2.) Only Greece
      3.) or both turkey and Greece?

      And what is the meaning of DD, I found it several times here in the forum. I suspect Battleship but be not sure.

      1.) Can an mech. Inf move through 2 Space territorys in the “Non-Combat-Move”  and activate and friendly neutral territory?

      5.) How many ships can a Naval-Base repair per turn, is there a maximum of 1 or 2?

      Lets say the US captured “Normandy Bordeaux” from Germany, next turn the US move an AAgun to “Normandy Bordeaux.” Later US
      captured Paris and France is libareted. So the territory “Normandy Bordeaux” become France Territory, what happen with the US AAgun in “Normandy Bordeaux”??
