In one of my last games the Russian player took Norway on R1 and stretched himself thin enough that Germany was able to take Moscow alone while Japan messed with the U.S… I wouldn’t reccomend a Norway attack on R1. Leave it for the UK or US.

I like the idea of 6 tanks to roll down the allies throat on J3 but I usually buy a couple of transports to clear off Japan. Also I would wait to see how large a fight the UK is going to put up for control of India. If they mildly reinforce it (Persian inf plus the fighter) without moving the Anglo Egypt forces east to help, i would take India and then put a factory there. It just makes many options a lot easier. However I a factory in Manchuria to ease the push on Russia is a solid idea

I am also a fan of the Belo attack because I think Russia needs to save all offensive pieces it can to with stand the germans. With a large West Russia stack and Inf and armor from R1 purchases you can put a huge dent in german offensive plans by taking Ukraine on R2. From there I would invest in mainly inf for a few turns to reinforce then slip the occasional ARM or ART to bolster your force for when the cavalry comes

Okay,
So they don’t have to fight if they don’t want to. That will be good to know for next time. Thanks -
Rules Questionposted in Player Help
There is a rule that states you can build new sea units in a hostile seazone and that doing so does not initiate combat since the combat phase has passed. Does this move then force the player who was already in the seazone to attack on their next move. I couldn’t find it in the book and we were split down the middle on whether the German player had to attack the newly purchased British fleet. Any advice would help a lot
