Yea, I actually didn’t do the math on the Chinese forces because I figured that in order to properly crush them, you’d have to move your fleet into a disadvantageous position.  What I forgot was how well the Italian and German stuff can set up a safe zone.

i was trying to be patient but c’mon man you really dragged the game out, and you’re way behind anyway. it’s an easy game for me here, russia gone and germany as powerful as it is, and japan is invincible at this point. you wouldn’t stand a chance anyway. face it.

what drew the line for me was how you just posted US and stopped there…like wtf was that?

I guess that is your right.  I did warn before starting this game that I was going to have issues so it is unfortunate that you started with that in mind but now cannot handle it.

we were (pleasantly) surprised that you didn’t stack volg right after russia fell, which would’ve been tough for us.

also, the additional VC rule isn’t a league rule, but it’s the new Balanced Mod (BM) variation that has caught on like fire in the community.

I think a min mistake was when I went to stack Volgograd with Russia while sending some allied fighters too far away from russian land ; this made the fall of Moscow earlier than expected. At some poinnt, I did not want to run too much computations ^_^

I’m not used to play with VC, and do not really like it :) I really prefer to play for global victory ; in particular, I do not like at all the way to sacrifice Japan to reinforce Europa. But this was obviously well played of you :)

And there were other rules I did not know had changed, like the sub rule (last time I played before this tournament was the “roll a dice at 2 or less for each attacking tranny”).

Anyway, you played really well, congratulations for your victory and good luck for the remaining of your tournament !

not sure if you have seen my post in the general discussion the other day, but i have given up A&A for the foreseeable future. i had become too addicted and it’s been a challenge keeping the number of games and the amount of time spent down to where i could maintain a healthy, balanced life. however, it’s very possible that i may decide to come back after a few months off and resume this game, under the strict condition that i would take on no more than two games at any given time.

it’s up to you if you wish to put this on hold for some time for possible continuation, or to claim it for 2015 or 16. no matter what you choose, i am totally ok with it.
