4 ftr attacking any small fleet like ac 2 ftr. add 2 subs and it shouldnt change but it does significantly
J1 IC to FIC, J2 IC to eastindies or J3 to india. i lreally like the FIC IC. i can produce AC / BB / CA here if i must without needing to protect them from air in early rounds
why not buy 6 subs US1? they are solomones/ carolines US2, scattered around eastindies US3. japan has got to protect their transports.

US1 6 Subs save 4
US2: AC BB 2 DD save 2
US3: loaded AC 2 DD
leaves u with 3AC 6 ftr 1 BB 5DD in sz56 end US3 and 6 subs already scatterd in the pazific.
japan often buys 2trannies or and IC round1. even if they buy 2 DD J1 and 5 J2 they got 3 AC 6ftr BB CA and 7 DD J2. they will prolly spend another 30-40 IPC J3 and put some subs in the water too…
american bombers at least should sbr italythe first 3 turns. id risk those 4 shots at 1 and then move them back into the pacific.
if g1 sets up kar g2, id buy 6 tanks and deadzone it. if he takes it g1 id buy a ftr, arm 5 inf.
if he semi sets up kar g2 ( not all tanks in range , bad dice, not 4 inf in finland, really depends…) id might try to hold it one more turn. so it would be 3 tanks ( 2 for kar) and 5 inf
i dont like counterattacking baltic states (unless really bad german dice/move). you will be trading ukraine soon enough , so every saved unit is worth it
yeah i made a bad buy one turn, setting up a sub/ bomber attack against a pimped italian fleet ( + ac, 2 ftr) but no DD! it was too late when i realized that his planes would shoot down my bombers… i had to buy some DDs for fodder if i dindt want to loose my bombers
