yes I know it is not the one people waiting on, but there was a 1941 game already put out.

well I have my stuff in my office in fact you can see the work I did on it in pictures here:
Well after trying it out, have come to the conclusion there is no real strategy involved, its like more of a game of luck then skill, so I must still say i’m disappointed with it, but then agian I did go in with high hopes on this game.
also heres a pic of my game shelf.:

not sure what this is about but i’ll throw some names in the hat:
Australian Coast Watchers
Canadian Air Troopers
German Sub Pens
MacArthur Royal Palace (+ his personal plane B-17 Bataan)
Peenemunde
German Ski Patrol
any of these help or am i way off base?
well if you get arrested again don’t laugh if they ask if you have any hand grenades.
I have the InfoGrames version (AKA Hasbro) and have Windows XP, and said screw it and DLed the add-ons in the links here in another topic and game works fine now.
Ok just got my “New” Axis and Allies disk I ordered, installed it on my computer, and when its the players turn it shuts down, tried it on another computer and same problem, has anyone encountered this before? and is there anything to be done about it?
Asterios
Stockton, Ca.
A&A (any), Risk and War At Sea.
Tell my People the Enemy has food and they must go liberate it from the enemy.
Well I’ve also got D-Day and Spring 42 coming in, and looking into getting Pacific 40 and Europe 40 (those 2 games connect together ?) so we’ll see how it goes, only picked up Battle of the Bulge cause saw it at a local gameing store for $35.
Well finally bought my first Axis and Allies game other then the first one today at a local game store for $35 and was greatly disappointed with its design and structure, first off the game only lasts 8 turns, pity about that, secondly the pieces make me scared they will snap in two (the German Flak Guns), the “storage tray” and I use the word lightly is a disappointment (I like the Styrofoam trays from the first game), now I keep asking myself why this game is so much when it offers so little, because of the name, Avalon Hill AKA Wizards of the Coast AKA Hasbro are playing us players like fools by offering little for a high price knowing die hard fans like us will pay a lot for these games.
Well the the sellers auctions are ending within the day and it turns out the "Shill Bidder has bid on every one of his auctions with a bid on it and only on his, all auctions have been reported to eBay and yet eBay has yet to do anything about it, so some honest buyers are going to get screwed.
as the title says looking for players in the Stockton, Ca. area.
Nobody in my area who plays Axis and Allies let alone Risk, and wife gets frustrated with the game cause I always win (even though I dumb down my playing), strategy games are not her forte I’d say.
meh I just ordered the disk off eBay, can’t find my old CD.
I’m looking for some cheap War At Sea mini’s With cards for my collection, don’t have a lot of money so like I said cheap, mainly looking for series 1 minis.
Have some Transformers (movie mostly) i’ll trade too.
Also have a bunch of Chessex Dice in various sizes for trade too.
Asterios Reporting as ordered, but has no clue what is going on :?
@Vance:
Yeah that’s an obvious fake.  The punchline is the guy probably doesn’t even have the game he is auctioning.  Would the seller be in China perchance?  That seems to be where a lot of that crap comes from.  Definitely report it.
not sure if hes inchina, his auction looks legit since he doesn’t have a lot of items listed worth a whole hell of a lot, auction # is : 200757269737
Clearly there is only one thing you can do.
Report it.
and report to (link removed since I’m not allowed to post links)
reported him to eBay and no clue what the game is you linked me too, my Axis and Allies experiance to date is the first game and thats it.
Well I bid on an Axis and Allies: Pacific game it was from a “0” feedback seller, so thought i’d risk it, well it turns out I just got outbid by a “0” feedback “New” buyer who has also bid on other auctions of this seller so only thing I can think of is a shill bidder, what do you guys think?
Note; the game is the only game he’s selling.
