yeah I know, one of the reasons I don’t order from canada cause shipping is a killer, in the US it would cost under $20 for shipping for both games, but at least Canada is not as expensive as shipping to Australia, whoowhee thats pricey.

this is figuring a total weight of about 8.5 LBs (not sure of exact weight except over 2LBs per box all my little scale goes up to, anyone know exact weight of each ?).

Well both of us were playing this game for the first time, I let him pick the forces he wanted since I was aware of the axis bias, as it goes he made some mistakes to the point GB took southern Europe on its first turn with troops from India ?(thats a first for me) and as Russia I had them take Western Russia on the first turn.
Also the part where I got confused was how a countries own Factories could only produce the amount of troops that territories IPC’s says. (wanted to flood India with troops to help Russia out, but could only put one per turn)
played my first game today, I was Allies and lost but not sure if it was because the game is supposedly Axis Biased or because I had some pretty Cruddy roles of the die.

I’d have to agree with you since that battle while a defeat for the Spartans was a morale victory for Greece, and stipulated Strategy is superior to superior numbers.
so essentially the only good thing in the game is the trucks ? the rest of the game can go trash itself? I have been unable to play the game myself since no one to play which is why it will be one of the games I sell, but so far it sounds like it wasn’t a good system.
I want to say there are 16 US trucks and 6 German ones.

seriously $2.50 per truck ? and Battle of the Bulge is one of the games i’m contemplating getting rid of too, why are the trucks so much ?

Well to clarify a few misconceptions, i’m not looking to sell off all my games, just a few to clear out the uneeded fluff, deciding which ones to keep and which ones to get rid of is the tough part, as to employment i’m well employed (partially also partially retired), but sadly the fist week of the month (or there abouts) is when I make my mortgage payment, pay my utility bills and so on, so by the time i’m done i’m broke (other then daily expenses) till the middle of the month.
As it goes i’m on contract for special projects, so my schedule is a bit willy nilly, but it works for me, gives me plenty of time to work around my house and spend time with the wife and such.
heard about pacificcon, in fact someonje was trying to get me to go but sadly gonna be broke early in the month and busy on the week the 16th. falls on.
but does sound like fun.

I flew across the continent for a game this April, and recently met up with a group of gamers 5 hours from my place, 5 hours from someone elses, and 2 continents from another friend who stopped by on his way to Quebec, for a weekend of gaming.
Mind you, I’m not looking to -sell- my games either.
2.5 hours each way is F-all. And if you find a basement inbetween, that’s only 1.15 each way for both of you. That’s nothing.
I guess there are just different calibre AA’rs…
