Did not scramble UK fighter and tac to Alexandria, because there was a 100% chance of an Italian victory. But will roll for these aircraft if my assumption was wrong.

Thanks for the intriguing game. Your strategy really made Japan suffer, and I had to constantly struggle to keep the Pacific from folding. Clearly, Germany needs to counter by quickly taking Russia–probably more quickly than I did. I’d be interested in how a M-level player dealt with all-out Pacific-first defense.

I may just keep the old map until I finish another PTV game based on the old map. I will keep a picture of new map up on my screen as a reminder of the change.

Yes, that would be great. Only question is which side. We could use a bid to decide. No bid was tough on the Allies, although I think that I had the advantage in our second game, until I blundered in Russia. It would have been another long game, regardless of who would have eventually won. I never solved how to retake Gibraltar. The Japanese delay in DOW on allies meant U.S. couldn’t help early on. But I think the German resources devoted to Gib stalled the advance on Russia. And Japan stalled in Asia until Russia collapsed. UKPac and ANZ didn’t anticipate or take advantage of delayed DOW, but built and moved defensively. Do you have a preference for X or L or thoughts on bid or no bid? Allies +16 appears normal for equals, but you are a better player.

I am going to have my hands full playing JDOW in playoffs and my ongoing game. But I would welcome a set of re-matches once done with one of these games.

Thanks for a most interesting game. The constant threat of Allied Atlantic amphibious assaults, the stalemate on the Russian front, the Allied all out attack on Japan, and all those bombers had me really worried for the longest time.
I’d be happy to play again next season.
