Though I never seen the program allow an illegal move, I suppose this is possible. (I have seen it choose an aircraft with more remaining spaces chosen as a loss over an aircraft with fewer remaining spaces. But that does not seem to apply here.)
An alternative is that moving a fighter from Kwangsi to Malaya was legal according to the logic of the program but that your NCM did not conform to this logic (i.e., the program figured that fighter that attacked Malaya from Kwangsi was supposed to land on the CV now in 132). It would take a deep analysis to figure out which is true or if there is another reason.I would rather not redo the whole CM and combat. The allies scored 3 hits on 10 rolls at 2–slightly better than the 2.67 hits expected: 2.67. I don’t trust Marti to be so kind in a redo.
As I see it, you have three options:
- Do the deep but time-consuming analysis and figure out if you can adjust your NCM to comply with program’s logic (if the analysis indicates this is the case).
- Redo the battle of Malaya only, leaving the otherwise stranded fighter out of fight (leaving it in Kwangsi).
- Leave the map as it is and ditch the stranded fighter.
I’d prefer Option 3 :), but sportsmanship dictates I could accept Option 1 or 2.

It required more thinking than I like do on a Saturday morning, but ultimately, the Rus I, F and Tac and the Ger I all had three rolls, and out of that mess, there was only one hit by the Rus Tac in the third round. -

I am using 2.6 for another game. I hate it because it often does not load current troop strength in the Battle Calculator. But if not practical to continue with 2.5, then okay.

Did not scramble to defend Paulau or SZ 22 because the probability of a US win was 100%.

The scramble rule for air bases and CVs is the same for land territories but different for sea zones. I find this inconsistency in the rules inelegant and I still have to consciously think each time what rule applies.
Do you want me to enter the French move or do the French have something their planning?

I noticed the following inquiry on the LGD:
Wanted to double check a rule here for BM/PtV: In OOB you can attack USSR with Italy and NCM German units in on their turn giving you the NO for Trade still, but being in original USSR territory. Is that legal for League play?It appears that MrRoboto replied, “Yes.” I suspect this is true of OOB League play. But my recollections is the rule was changed so that, to occupy an ORIGINAL Russian territory (even on a NCM), Germany must declare war. So, in our game, Germany would need to declare war on Russia and forfeit the Peace NO of 5 to move into E.Poland or Bessarabia. Strangely, I ran a sim of the G3 move and the sim supports Roboto’s conclusion, not mine. So, you might want to get an official ruling from Gamerman or another moderator.

Based on what I am finding, submarine appear to be a category of warships. Let me check, though, with Gamerman about the League’s definition of warship.
