Just wondering what people have experienced as 150 point armys both axis and allies. I seen someone put up a KT, PGs and some other support. But I would like to know what other people have come up with. Thanks

i have many units for trade. i’ve bought a cases of each set. as well as boosters on top of that. So any thing that people want, just let me know, i might have them. There not doing me any good, just sitting in plastic in the closet. thx!

I’d mostly like to get the UK tanks from both series… I have Russian, French, and US tanks to trade for any UK tanks (Except for the Stuart and the Croc…)
I have a couple stuarts, 1 crusader and a couple archers. im looking for KV-1, m24 chaffee, and ss-panzer IV Ausf. F2.

1000$ where are you buying your boosters? thats a rip off if you only have 1 of each piece. I have spent at most $350 and i have the entire set 1 and 2. with many mulitple good rares. with 1000 spent i would easily have 3 of every rare and like 20 of every common. thats way too much for what you only have

No the +1 does not apply to the headshot ability. It is not a normal attack, there fore its just a standard role
this clears it up completely. I figured that the ability was way to powerful

Attack~~Defend senerio sugestions
I am interested in trying an attack defend senerio. what i would like to know from you guys it what works? 300 points is normally what i like to play with. But i don’t know how to divide up % wise the attack and defend army. Any infor or great ways you have found to do it please let me know! THANKS

I thought you roll for attack, and if you have enough success to hit the target, then the target rolls for his cover. Other wise what would be the point of rolling for covor if your apponent hasn’t even rolled yet?
~ so i believe its you declair armor piercing rounds. and if the dude in the trees makes his cover roll, then armor rounds were useless. There fore dont attack unless there out of cover.

Rule question: Movement and positioning of vehicles
I just am curious on positioning of vehicles within the hex. If you decide to change directions on your move, lets say head toward the hex that your vehicle’s rear was looking at. does it count as 1 move or is it free? also when you end up in the hex that you want stay in, and you decide to rotate your tank so its facing a better direction than the way it came into the hex, is that considered 1 move, or is that just something you get to decide when you are finished moving?

German Sniper
The ability Headshot: if 3 or more successes, put a face-up disrupted counter on that vehicle. This counter isn’t removed at the beginning of the next casulaty phase.
~ well what if the vehicle has a face up disrupted counter. then what? Also if you don’t remove the face up till after the ‘next’ casulty phase and the vehicle you just hit doesn’t have any face down disrupts, but you manage with your next tank to disrupt the vehicle. at the casulty phase you would flip the face down disrupt. what do you do since your already got 1 face up from the sniper?

i guess i can see that with lower point battles. I usually play 150 points and another 50 of reinfocments halfway through. So you have a few ‘big guns’ fireing away. it makes short lives of a sspanther with a couple of shermans, or better yet a armor piercing round from the crazy eight

its not just a flamethrower soldier. there are other tanks out there that do flamethrower ability. You can’t for one second tell me that you can run and hide a king tiger from 4 jeeps caring flamethrowers chasing it down. what a point difference and the for just that ‘chance’ that you might roll 3 6’s with only 7 dice. any king tiger would player would run. so I see it as there is no way a flamethrower can take out a tank like that. If you really wanted to get picky with research. How many flamethowers blew up because a bullet piecred there tanks before they could get into a effective position. I don’t see that anywhere in the rules. I just feel that its BS that a 5 point figure has that much power. And i am sure a lot of people will agree with me on that

Troops entering vehicles hex
~ just wondering, i can’t find the rule and maybe I am just overlooking it. But does a troop who is in the same hex as a vehicle get rear defense against it?

i like a house rule of. if a flamethower scores 3 6s on the dice that the vehicle, (not troops) recieves a face up counter immediatly that doesn’t remove till end of the next casulty phase. Makes more sense then a little 5 point dude coming up to a king tiger and blowing it up in 1 hit. But i could see a lucky shot with a flame thrower causeing the unit to act ‘crazy’ for a round trying to get there barings and wonder what the heck was that!

I think im going to make a house rule on this. If not then superior armor is USELESS. how hard is it now to match the def 3 times in one phase, of a tank with the anti tank guns of set2. not very. (tried it one game that you could disrupt the tank all game long if you beat the def by 1. but in order to damage it, it had to be 2 no matter what. wasn’t to impressed on how it worked)
~If a tank has superior armor, then not only does it have to beat the def by 2 to score 2 hits. But the tank also gets 2 damage counters then a destroyed. That way if you drop 70+ points on a tank it can actually take a beating out there on the battlefield.
