I have a new youtube channel.  Not sure how much I’ll be uploading, but I will be doing a live feed of a Global War game this weekend and of games in the future for those interested.

Andy, I would seriously consider cancelling that order if you can and getting the same set(s) of decals from Pico Armor.  Pico is in the US and has a lot of Dom’s decals in stock.  Six months is inexcusable.

1/600 fighters and Tac bombers are much smaller, medium bombers are about OOB size strat bombers are larger an example, TD spitfires are half the size of OOB, hawker hurricanes 3/4 the size of the OOB spitsfires

How do I post pictures in the post (not as an attachment)?  I have seen some threads with pictures in the post and they are easier to look at.  I tried copy paste, but it didn’t work.

This might be obvious, but I just want to make sure.  I have seen some custom artillery pieces that are set on round bases.  Are these simply infantry bases that were cut out from under the poor person and glued to the artillery?

I am working on the same project myself.
I decided to use #10 nuts and #16 1_1/4" finishing nails. I am epoxying the nail in the nut.
I don’t think this will be a fast process, but it is saving money. My design will be a little taller than the FMG Flight Stands.
I was able to get an infantry with 5 chips under a bomber with no chips.
And the #10 Nut is small enough to fit inside the inner circle of your chips.
I figure it will cost are $0.12 USD per stand. So it should have me about $250.

I think the reason they were rare before is because FMG sucked balls. IWNGU is doing a much better job distributing FMG’s products.

I would have phrased it more tactfully, but he is quite correct about FMG… if IWNGU says they have them, then they have them… good company.

Thank you all for the information.  Hopefully, I will start my painting project soon.  Getting a new airbrush isn’t an option right now, but I will definitely keep it in mind for later.  The plastic brush I have works decent when its not being temperamental.

I will be experimenting with spray paint, at least for primer.

When I start to finish some some, I will post a new thread with all the information of how, what , when, where, I did to paint the pieces.  Hopefully, it will benefit someone to wants to do the same and be as inspirational as the amazing work already on this forum has been for me.

Can’t wait to see your work. I’m glad to see this part of the forums grow. It has been awesome seeing everyone’s work.

I hope to be painting again, soon, myself. Glad to have another member to the team. :-)
