      Yeah, assuming I had realized the Russian planes could get to West India. As I said I did not realize they could and did not account for them in my plans.

      Now Japan is in a world of hurt. The idea was to take and hold India then move the fleet back to stop the US after eliminating one threat; i.e. India. Now at best I am going to trade India which means I am not going to be able to get back and stop the US. Big mistake on my part. Especially since I could have brought one more fighter from Japan and did not as with a 90% chance of success I assumed you would retreat. Oh well. Learned something.

      Okay I think I figured it out. I actually used Local to do my Turn then it would not post the summary so I realized I must be in the wrong mode. I changed to PBEM (which apparently includes Forum that I never realized) and then it allowed me to post the summary. I think if I start my Turn in PBEM/Forum I think it will post the actual rolls too. If you want I can redo the rolling portion for the Japan Turn. BTW I did not scramble your US plane in the Philippines as it had no chance of doing any damage as I brought 2 battleships, however if you want me to reroll that battle with a scramble I can.

      Thank you. It was great fun and extremely close. I almost threw it away there at the end. I literally had just 1 spare unit to win… sheesh.

      I agree I did not see how Low Luck detracted from the game. There was still plenty of luck in the small battles and it was surprising how much Low Luck helped the Allies too. Originally I had thought it would mainly just help the Axis.

      I was very pleased by your US strategy. Ted and I just came to the conclusion that maybe a 100% effort by the US in the Pacific might be the way to go for the Allies. As you decimated Japan I am not sure if I misplayed Japan or it was your great strategy. Certainly if Moscow had not fallen early the Allies would have won.

      I would love another game. Same sides or switch sides with the same bid; makes no difference to me. However since this is such a distraction lets start next week as I have a big presentation on Tuesday and if we start again I will want to play this weekend instead of prepare for it.

      I did not scramble in Eastern Persia as you could not hit the tactical bombers and in the event your AA gun hit and I rolled 3 one’s (about one in 250 chance) I figured you would want the extra fighter to hit Egypt.

      If the Axis can hold all of the current Victory Cities until Germany goes again then the game is over.
