AD and Adam are both better than me. Hate to say it but you just made things easy by messing up in Europe. I had no reason to take any risks in Pacific or worry about anything there because I knew the game was already won in Europe. I think your strat has some merit, but needs some tweaks.

yeah, i messed up there heavily it seems. no one played that agressivly with germans so far against me

i think u re not worse then AD. at least for me u arent. sometimes somebody can be worse player then somebody else, but a third party can have more problems with the weaker player. it depends upon playstyle too.

and i am not saying AD is not top player, after Adam, probably the best overall.

i am glad i am testing my strategies against the best. its the best way to improve them, or abandon them if they can not improve

I ve checked the results of the first 60+ BM games this year, and the axis lead with 2:1.

so its a big lead for the axis, having 65 % of wins ( 2/3) .

The allies need a bigger bid.

Well, my plan was to threaten the Adriatic heavily, but the problem with parking the UK fleet there is that that battle is always risky + the Axis can choose to scramble or choose to not to.

Other maybe even crucial problem is that i cant hold Greece. Even if I take it, Italy and/or Germany can retake it, and if U attack my navy in the Adriatic i have a problem with my planes unable to land, so i have to keep ACs undamaged till the end of the battle, which severely decreaces my odds.

Watch out when using battle calc in version 2.5 (maybe even in some previous versions)

In previous version u had to turn on the ADD AMPHIBIOUS ATTACK MODIFIERS

for your bats and cruisers shots to be included in the calculation.

Now U dont, u just put the cruisers and bats in the calculator, and even u havent pressed ADD AMPHIBIOUS ATTACK MODIFIERS

it still counts as if u had.

it will give u the same results, either u pressed or not have pressed the ADD AMPHIBIOUS ATTACK MODIFIERS button

Yeah, that battle is 95 % or more, but very risky even if its a draw.

3 units is the, best, and, minimum is fig + tac.

But 2 air + dd is great

i mean its not a problem to do a little edit in every 3 or 4 rounds

But, U didnt bought much air and navy early, and U pressed east.

My figs saved me.

The games (losses) against Adam, Kmsckay, AD, Trulpen, and now JDOW are helping me to put my allied play on a greater level.

As for JDOW game, that loss of Cairo and my naivity considering ignoring the J2DOW were too much.

I would like to see how the game would look like without it.

But i also tend to be more flexible, so next time i see G1 like JDOWs, i might play a different Russia.
