I am sorry I assumed wrong one thing, u said if u score good dice we re roll the same

But u must know that according to league rules ur rushing into scramble battle is ur risk alone, and u have to bear the concenquences of it. So no re roll, unless i accept. Since i dont like to cause trouble for players, i wont ask it, i wont scramble as i wouldnt before knowing the dice,

But against some other players u ll maybe wont be that luckY.

If u want to hasten do it. But u must bear the risks.

And the moderators cant help here. Its a clear rule. Only the good will of the defender can help. As i say its not so much about this particular situation, as its for the future.

U wrote a mssg here and dice we rolled at the same minute so its impossible to know did u see the dice first and then wrote the msg.

But i trust u so far to be pretty sure u were honest, but as i say in some play off or other games u ll probably get, sanked for nothing.

its logical u scramble fully in sz 97 since u ve got nothng to loose so i ll proceed that way

AND EVEn with the little loss its still a lot benefical since i can finish the job with the brits

actually i ve just secured my third league win this season. against simon. so i am in the records, M for start xd

6.0 is my score , but of course i am far from having M status at the end of season, but i hope i can take E , it would be a move forward for me definitely

It was very scary and frustrating when you hit 10 in r1, but then I was lucky in the end.

I’m too damn uncareful with Berlin! Seems like it’s my achilles heel. Lost a game earlier against 666 because of the neglience. And about the time koala also sacked the capital. Horrible. Confusing.

All you have to do in this instance is to load a new game attack one unit with a bomber say you start germany over again and attack normandy with one bomber only. The bomber (@4) is then my defensive roll!

this in game triple a roll dice thing is much more easier. and the dice results are sent to e mail, so there is no cheating.

when there are more units, then the attacker has to write here what will be rolled first, what second etc, to avoid confusion,

but in this case it was pretty simple

when i attack big groups in this manuall dice triple a thing

i write here for example

2 inf, 2 tanks, 2 figs

vs

2 inf, 2 figs

and i roll first attack dice then defence dice

and first from lower dice to bigger

so 2@1
4@3

and then

2@2
2@4

crazy game is this, so full of good moves, twists, oversights,

Its good to have a reputation of a heavy attacker. it causes the opponent to overdefend or simply not going in the range of my forces

ABH over me, with an early massive dose of luck against the Russians, and that was pretty much over from round 5, altho I managed to stretch it to round 32 and could’ve kept going for another 10 rounds at least.

he openly admitted his strategy was to take whatever lucky chance he could get since he considers himself the weaker player. I do not enjoy playing someone who’s primary strategy is to get lucky. so now I know to avoid playing him and anyone who will have that mindset. while I can understand going for luck if you’re losing and feeling desperate, but to go for such odds right at the outset, before anyone has any real advantage? to make that your primary strategy? sorry but for me, this game is fun because it offers more tactics and strategies than a lot of common games out there, but that gets thrown out the window with this kind of approach (I would have same complaint if the battle went horribly wrong for him, as it would not be any fun for me if he threw the game that early on).

no, he was taking big gambles like that all game actually, even earlier than that he did same kind of Hail Mary on my fleet in 110, but that came out roughly even. he later did similar big gambles in pac. I’ve actually played him a few times in the past, and while I remember he would like to gamble like this a lot, it never seemed like he would do it as his main strategy. it always seemed like he would do it on a smaller scale here and there, and only when he started losing and getting more desperate. but what bugged me about this game is that he admitted he was determined to try out any such 30 to 50% odds in hopes of getting lucky, and it was so early on that it didn’t make any sense to go for poor odds unless you were just praying for some luck as your strategy.

Ha ha, that’s funny. I guess you got to give they guy credit for having the balls to do it. But honestly, hitting a 40%-50% battle isn’t unreasonable, or even 30% if its small.

I hate to bring this ancient debate back, again, but I think while the battle calc is a useful tool, it isn’t the final word. Minor shifts in dice rolls can flip a battle hard. A few extra hits round 1, BOOM the odds go from 30% to 80% just like that…

But he didnt just won the battle, he butchered russians. From 30 % he wins the battle, ok, but instead of - 60 to +100. If he won with +10-20 ok, but this was super lucky.
