Pretty fun to return to the roots after actually learning the correct rules, thanks to resident EXPERT @The_Good_Captain

      It seems to me that the games definitely last longer, and PTV just boosted that up (which is not bad per se).

      i ll rather play 3-4 high quality and competitive games, then 10 fast ones, one sided.

      The high quality of the tournaments just proves that the interest in playing this game here over forum still exists :)

      Tehnical part is also important, overall in this year the site worked fine , triple a is great, we have the community here that helps quickly about rules , some situations which players encounter and are not shure what can they do.

      Respect for all of U that give their time for this great site and community

      when U say he was controversial i suppose U mean the edit thing he had. He always did a bunch of edits not just after his turn, but even after the opponent played. He was polite and he asked if he can do it, and those edits were almost always something he forgot, not something he would do after he sees an opponents move, but still some people were probably annoyed by that.

      I think it was because he was so unpatient, and played so fast , and so many games at a time.

      other boosting (instead of lowering the cost and increasing the number of planes u can hit) of aa guns could be

      • moving at 2 moves (like mechanized aa gun - maybe with a cost of 6 )
      • shooting at planes that fly over the territory regardless if they are attacking it (especially in CM)

      but i think that even if they stay on 5 IPC , its ok since u guys brought some good reasons for it

      and my opponent in the last game, told me after the game finished, that until that game of ours, he didnt realized the importance of aa guns (he more or less thought they are of small benefit) -

      P.S.i moved all the aa guns from UK and USA to Europe, bided 3 aa guns with UK Pacific, brought those from India forward, and bought several with UK in the Middle East

      Is the majority of games now played PTV ? Or BM and older versions are still stronger?

      And one more question about bids in BM4. Have they changed much ? What are the average bids these days there?

      as for bombers, i am playing a game against axis, the opponent bought bunch of bombers with Germany, even few with Japan. Maybe 1-2 with Italy too.

      I am glad I played against U , cuz U are a good player and gentleman of the game.

      For others viewing just this one sentence Fasthard wrote I must say he was really close to victory, in the last round of the game he held 8 VC with Germany, but the Allies were able to pull one back in a 50-50 % battle.

      So it was really close, but it had to prevail on one side.
