just ideas you would wish would be in the E40 map that wasn’t previously. The map is made so if I did add the Middle East and onwards, it would be terribly distorted (there is a thread where someone made a map with my European proportions and it is wild)

I made the map “handdrawn” so the straight lines in the borders for example in Algeria isn’t exactly straight (but the sea zones are and stuff)

Should I add “roundels” for each province or maybe add their flag in each province (with some blending filters on) or maybe a tiny flag below/above the IPC thing. I don’t want to add naval ports and airports if someone wanted to make a variant for the map then there wouldn’t be random naval ports and air port pre-installed into the map with no actual marker–

@superbattleshipyamato Hello! Over the past 3 days, I have been working on my own Europe 1940 Axis and Allies map. The map is made to be played with just Europe, Africa, and North America. I wanted to make it to like this so people can play games in-depth but not have to be drawn-out over so many continents.

ATM, the base map is finished and I am working on the additional small (but important) details like:

Roundels
IPC’s p/ Territory
Extra small creative things

The rulebook will be the hardest to make and I will post the full map for play testing. The map will cost too much money to print ATM so I will mostly rely on community members to help. I am afraid about people copying but I will find a way to prevent that.

I need a logo for the corner of the map so I will work on that soon. I hope when everything is play tested I can print it. It might be another 1-2 years (or more)

So yeah, if you have any ideas, I will mark them down in my notes maybe I can add them to my map or add them in the rulebook (there is like 2 pages done…)

The dimensions are too big to send and I have waited like 20 minutes for everything to load and stuffs so I say forget it and send you the good side of the map

I wished the map looked better for Global 36. Though the properties and proportions of the Global 39 is nicer, it looks likea flat image I donty like it :(

There is hope though

I am making a map and theny it looked nice at first and then it started looking bad so I not going to make it unless I find a global 40 scanned map and maybe something good nogh for my eyes yes

I am going to have to edit the rulebook whenever I start playing G36 AKA maybe 6.2 years from now

Tsardom of Bulgaria

Historical fact I forgot can be turned into a house rule for the game:

After the German invasion of the Soviet Union and the Japanese attack on the United States, Bulgaria yielded to German pressure to declare war on Great Britain and the United States, a move of only symbolic importance, but Tsar Boris avoided joining the war against the Soviet Union, fearing that this would lead to popular unrest. Bulgaria did not send troops to the front and was relatively untouched by military operations until the summer of 1943, when Allied bombers began to attack rail and industrial centres.

So as a house rule we can remove Bulgaria as a pro-axis neutral until Round 4 (when they are allowed to be controlled by Germany) After that however, they turn into a pro-allied neutral because the Bulgarians dont want their territory touched…bbb…v

Ok now we got that over with, I found some neat “axis minors” rules on the forum. There was better ones I saw a week ago but this one will do :smiley:

If you have any suggestions, spill it on here. Going to add my thoughts on this forum and continue expanding my House Rules of Awesomeness. Maybe next after typing all of this I am going to look if there is a “Man in the High Castle” variant (though the book/show is super unrealistic it is a fun concept)

Couldn’t the Germans blitz the Caucasus in 2 turns? Maybe add a “Germany Allied Powers” Extension that prohibits German troops in Bulgaria (Historically, Bulgaria did not join the conflict with ground troops.) But adds Romania and Hungary (giving the House Rules on the forum which there is some creative, in-depth ones for this)…

Maybe let Turkey join Round 4, remove UK additional naval units (meant to “balance”) Remove Turkey’s Navy and maybe just add a single Sub (Historically, they had a battleship and a couple light craft but this is a game and we have to compromise)
