@Panther thanks again for the help. I am still confused though about the explanation. If the forums software is no longer compatible why does it still work for most people? Do they have an older version of TripleA that works? Why can my opponent upload but not me?

I tried this as well using the version 2.5 but no luck.

@aagamerz13 so unfortunately I am still getting the same issue as before. In order to find your g1 upload to make my russian moves I had to right click on the link and save as to my desktop. Once the download finished I opened TripleA separately and clicked Open Saved Game and selected the download located on my desktop.

That was using the pre-release version of TripleA. For whatever reason I am unable to get version 2.5 to work. What version does it say you have when you open it up? I am really confused as to why the forum works for some but not others.

We could also try play by email? I assume it works similar to play by forum.

@panther thanks, I am using the pre-release version and it is working. Or at least appears to be working so far.

Hey all,

Do you know what is causing the following error? I am not able to post to a game to the forum. I have played games by forum in the past but took a break for a couple of years. I might be missing one of the setup steps but I am not sure how to tell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey all, I am looking to restart playing. During covid i had to stop playing rather abruptly so I apologize for that. Would love to get back into the swing of things. Lookin for an opponent. I would prefer allied BM bid of 16 for allies.

Unfortunately I am not sure how much time I will have to devote to my games at the moment. I have already fallen behind and do not have a lot of free time for most of July. At best I will only be able to check 1 or 2 times a week.

If you Are feeling generous we can call these games a draw so you can free up more time or we can continue and I will only post sparingly. If you need the win I understand and I am willing to concede on the condition of a rematch at a later date.

Sorry for this but my family and I are somewhat unexpectedly moving and will not have a lot of free time. Thanks again for the game.
