      I’m pretty sure deleting your posts will lower your post count … I just did it as an experiment and it worked.

    • RE: Can Germany win without Africa?

      @Jennifer:

      Yea, or you could have 100% accuracy on defense too, for your Armor.

      Bash it out.  If it gets ridiculous, surrender.  Sorry, but when I play, if it’s hopeless, then I usually just surrender so we can start a replacement game.  Hopeless games are no fun for victor or looser.

      You mean like your game with Switch?  :wink:

    • J1 Two IC Build

      Would it be a bad idea to build 2 ICs on J1 in Kwangtung/Manchuria in order to get 6 tanks on the mainland on J2? I think it would make Japan reach Moscow faster and with more troops. They have enough existing units on mainland and on the islands to use on J1/J2 that they won’t be hurt by not producing any land units on J1.

      Please post your opinions.

      @Cobert:

      ha, that reminds me of the game im in right now against a new player (kind of, hes played a couple of games).  We always play Risk together, and today, as russia, he asked me as Japan if we could make a border alliance between Buryatia and Manchuria.

      :lol:

      Amphibiously land in SFE and then invade Bury from there  :evil:

      Delete old posts!!!

      I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure that takes away from your post count … although it might mess up old topics if someone is reading them and suddenly your post is missing  :lol:

    • RE: WW II History

      I would say www.wikipedia.com that you can search almost anything about history and get quite an extensive amount of information on it but I realize that that information might not be accurate due to the sites policy about users being able to change things.

      I found that thing in the profile editing where I could change the amount of hours +/- to change it.

      Thanks

    • RE: Capital trading

      @ncscswitch:

      @Amon-Sul:

      altough i agree with you i still have to correct this,
      correct me if i am wrong but i think that the rulebook says if the country(in this case Russia)lost its capital its aliies can capture its territories and use its IC until the capital(Moscow)is liberated

      To be paid for a fallen Allies territory, you MUST take it form the enemy.  Entering friendly territory is not combat movement.  You can only take territory via combat movement.

      Entering territory still held by a fallen Ally is like reinforcing the resistance :-)

      So, in the case above, where Russia controls a number of central Europe territories, US and UK can;t just walk in and claim them.  They will either have to take them from Germany or Japan once one or the other has claimed them, otherwise they remain Russian.

      I had no idea you could do this … so if Japan occupies Moscow and UK is taking control over say Karelia from Germany UK will get the IPCs from this territory and control it until Moscow is liberated?!?

    • Time Question

      I was just wondering about the times on the right side of the screen when you are viewing a forum topics list. They are always wrong at least for me. Does it have something to do with time zones and like the server is based somewhere outside of EST (where I live)?

      I’d say it all depends on what is left in Central Europe but from what you are saying than I would say the yes Allies would win.

    • RE: Can Germany win without a Baltic carrier?

      @frood:

      I think I agree that the best way for Germany to have a naval presence is to join the fleets, including the sub that’s out there by itself.

      On second thought, subs don’t have to worry as much about air attack if they are accompanied by a CV, 2 fighters plus a DD. In that case the subs are certainly not sitting ducks.

      I usually use the lonely sub as fodder for the attack on the UK BB in SZ 13

    • RE: Can Germany win without a Baltic carrier?

      With a carrier you can also use it to strike at Britains Navy if the opportunity arises with FIGs that couldn’t normaly reach.

      @saburo:

      Quite successful.  No problem with homeland defence.  The extra ground units are more than enough to do the job.

      SS

      16 IPCs worth of ground units dont seem to make as much as a difference as the carrier does in the overall protection of Europe. I think that without the carrier UK will be able to threaten Germany much sooner than with it.
