Haha no painting for me for a while, just finished painting my Global  set today, all but France. You are right though, don’t have to worry about running out of T34s anytime soon Haha

I can’t wait for the France set, just so i can replace all those Russian pieces, sure France rarely sees play butfor aesthetics id rather see a char b1 in Paris for a turn than that blue t34

i agree w Xandax, Italy’s low income tends to hold them back. IMO if Tobruk, Italian Somaliland and Sardiana were given values of 1 and Sicily a value of 2 to raise Italy to 15 IPCs, it would help Italy as it has a few more bucks to spend and help it expand but not too much to unbalance the game

China can place units it bought on any Chinese territory that’s still free from Japanese control

just curious did anyone buy the italian ones and if u did, do they look better than w their current german equipment?

I have a few friends who I play with but they’re busy most of the time, so I’m looking for other ppl who have a bit more free time and would like to have a game session of either of the 1940 games. I haven’t played any of the others except for classic but I’m down to play any other version as well. I’m from the southbay area of L.A by the way, anyone near here just hit me up and let’s set up a game session :)

My friend used his tt from sea zone 39 to transport one inf from india and the one from west india and landed them on persia to activate its army. So his question to me which I couldn’t really answer was does Calcutta get the ipcs since the infantry used were colonial infantry or does London get it cuz persia is on the European side of the map?

My strategy for when I play russia (I’m almost always italy or japan) I leave token defense on the border nations w germany and rally my armies in leningrad, belarus, west ukraine and ukraine. The added ic will prob help out since I now have two places where I can pump out infantry and fast units to the frontline. With the new NOs I can use the stalingrad ic to reinforce the caucasus and use moscow to send units to help out china

in the house rules my friends and i have, vichy france is in it and basically all french units in southern france and north africa become pro axis when paris falls
