What do you mean by “can contain the variability of such a rule.”?

Has anyone tried giving your naval units a range like the airforce?  Forcing the naval units to refuel and supply at naval bases. It would make island hopping in the pacific more key to your strategy.

Does someone have good rules to link AAE and AAP together into one game? I recently got both and love them.

I was wondering if anyone has thought about having different combat rules for different units. For instance I have always thought it was weird that tanks could so effectively attack fighter planes. I know it was done for simplicity but, I think for more advanced players things could be adjusted. I think every unit should have another unit that is particularly good at defeating it or something like that. Anyone’s thoughts?

I was wondering what others have done to add new units to A & A Revised? I was thinking of getting a copy of the Old A & A and using some of those pieces as new units. Maybe the Old Battleship as a Cruiser? Anyone have any experience in this area?

I just ordered a whole new set of playing pieces from Hasbro and I find that my new U.K. pieces are not tan! They are a light pea green! Completely different color than the pieces I got with the game. My new German Pieces are far lighter gray than my original pieces as well. Has this happened to anyone else?
