I’m no veteran, but from my experience you can’t really focus on Sealion AND the Soviets.  Sealion OOB is really quite easy but then you’ve neglected the Soviets and turning your attention to that front while holding London can be difficult.  People have mentioned G4 attack on Soviets and had success but I’ve found with my own games that it’s difficult for me to take them out after waiting so long.  So that’s my suggestion, do one or the other, not both

Well either way. uk can only make 9-10 inf r1.  germany round 2 buys more transports and dumps what he has on to a spot near uk. G3 is boom boom if you got the forces or wait a round just shuffle a bunch of guys over and G4 it is done.

I think he posted his quote on the wrong thread.  It looks like his quote is supposed to be on some thread about Sealion.  Maybe he was thinking of making his post, saw this topic and decided to check it out, then said “Oh, I’ve got to leave my post” but forgot to go back to the original Sealion thread and left it here instead.  Probably a blonde moment, ha ha ha.

Regardless of if Germany has Paris, France or not, if Italy takes S. France, all they get is S. France and collect income as per any other territory conquered during the Conduct Combat Phase of the game.  They never get treasury IPC for taking a territory, unless they take a capitol (Calcutta, India; Sydney, Australia; Washington DC, USA; London, England; Moscow, Russia; Berlin, Germany; Rome, Italy).

Taking a capitol is an exception to the rules, it is not a standard rule for taking any territory.
