that everyone refers too?  What do you buy, what piece goes where?  Then what about J2 and J3?  I’ve tried the search engine on here but it’s not a very good one and I can’t find “the J1 attack”.  Thanks.

Very fun game.  Wish this came out in my HS and college days when I had more time for gaming.  My 12 year old son and I played it before I discovered this forum site.
I didn’t know about the J3IC, but I played a pretty aggressive as Japan.  I’m a pretty experienced board gamer, but my son eventually beat me though.  He wants to play Japan next.  Maybe we’ll try LH’s new set up and revised rules and see how that goes.  Can’t wait to get AAE40.  We’ll probably play that one separately first then try a global game.

Is the definition of a garrison in Manchuria (one infantry) or must it maintain some combination more than that?

I’m in Sparta, WI (near La Crosse).  Didn’t realize that this post was so old.  I just discovered it a couple of months ago.  Picked a copy of AAP40 a few months ago.  Only played it once with my son so far.  Fun game.  Plan on buying AAE40 soon.  I’d love to get a copy of the 50th anniv edition too, but not at 300.00+ a copy.
