I am up for a league game. My first for 2010.
Anyone one feeling like taking a shot?
I’m your huckleberry. May be a little slow going at first as I have a couple that are wrapping up but I can usually post daily.
-
@Joe:
Looking for a league game of 42. The pace would be slow. Less then a post a day, maybe 4-5 a week. I’ll be whatever side you don’t want, I don’t require a bid. Any takers?
sounds fine with me JC I already have 4 going including our multi. Last time I was allies. Let me know what side you want as wellas tech +/-
Okay Maxo, here’s for sides. Odds=I’m axis

I’ll start the thread. Let me know about the tech thingy.
-
Alright Maxo… sent pm.
Going to have to get you a “1” in your little loss column there.
-
Looking for two games:
1 AA41 and 1 AA42. I prefer tech. Bidding for Allies, I’ll take them for 7 IPC in either version -
I’m in Cts17.

I thought that might get your attention. Btw, that’s against 10 different players…no pigeons
-
I guess I got time for another 41 three game series, preferably with someone I haven’t played yet.
-
PM for game… state preferences for sides, techs, NOs, bids…
-
I’m in for the 2010 AA50-41-league, now.
I’m loking for an opponent to play a three game series. Having played 6 games in the 2009 AA50-41 league I am not experienced enough to profit from the much discussed possible Axis dominance. To me it’s hard to win with either side. ;-)
So I would like to play with a bid of “0”.
To make the outcome of the series “balanced” I suggest to play the following way:Game 1: Rolling for sides, 0 bid, NO +, Tech -
Game 2: Playing the opposite sides, 0 bid, NO +, Tech -
Game 3: when 1:1 rolling for sides, 0 bid, NO +, Tech +
when 2:0 player who lost chooses side, chooses Tech yes/no, NO +I’m open for other suggestions of course. ABattlemap with compatible modules only, please
(see http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=12873.msg357193#msg357193 ).Please PM me if you are interested.

After not playing any Axis and Allies games for the last 3 months, I’m finally ready to get into the '41 2010 League, although I may only be able to post about 4 moves per game per week.
So, what I’m looking for is a 3-game series with 1 opponent, with the first 2 to be played either simultaneously or back-to-back (both are okay) with each player playing both the Axis and the Allies. The third game to be started later.
I want to play with tech in all 3 games, but if I can’t get a tech opponent, then it’s negotiable.
I’m still out on a limb about the (supposed) Axis advantage in the '41 setup, but I don’t think that bid units to Europe/Africa helps game balance. I think what I would rather do is have a 3 IPC Allied bid of 1 infantry unit to Asia. As a gentleman’s agreement, the posssible locations for the 1 infantry are as follows:
1) 1 Chinese infantry to any 1 of the 7 starting Chinese-controlled territories.
2) 1 UK infantry to Persia, India, Burma, Kwangtung, or Australia.
3) 1 Russian infantry to Novosibirsk, Urals, Evenki, Yakut, Stanovoj, Far East, or Buryatia.
4) 1 US infantry to the Philippines, Wake, Midway, Hawaii, Alaska, or West USIf someone is interested in these terms, then please post a reply in this thread and PM me.

Looking to pick up 1-2 more games. 1941, blind bid, tech I could go either way, but I prefer no.

I will play against you, the first two simualtaneously. (I want your Axis moves first :-P)
It would be best to wait until after the weekend, as I won’t be able to post from Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon, but if you wish to start immediately, then by all means! -
