Germany needs help!!! I need additional game packs!

with Germany you start out with 40 ipcs.  Usually you spend all of that on stuff - armor and infantry mainly. 
If you take over 2 ipcs worth of territory and had not lost any, then at the end of your turn, you collect 40 + 2 ipcs = 42 ipcs.

Now if you did not purchase anything at the beginning of your turn, then you collect 40 (your starting income that you already had at the beginning of your turn) + 42 (what you collect this turn) = 82 ipcs.  So yes - you may puchase 3 battleships . . . for some reason . . . if you choose . . . .

If this is the old CD game, what may help is disconnecting from the internet. That happened to me (loading up for one player) but when I disconnected the ethernet cable, it worked fine. By the way, if the thing does start working, SAVE FREQUENTLY!

ONLY attacking subs have first strike capabilities, although I’m not sure whether it lasts beyond the first round. I’ve always played that first strike is always on.

Greetings all,

Yesturday I read the rules for Axis and allies and I finished my first game today at the Allies (playing my brother who beat the living daylights outta me). Anyways, I am familiar with Diplomacy PBEM (www.redscape.com I’m Blitzkrieg) and I am interested in playing A&A online.

So… if anyone is willing to play a game with me, or four players if you please, I would love to go. I do not know, however, about opening bids (i’ve heard them mentioned as I fish around this site for info) and a couple other tid bits that I don’t yet comprend. The ideal situation would be 1 experianced player and me and 3 other newbies possibly so that we can be babied through a quick game to get the feel? I could trade dip lessons for A&A lessons :D.

Any takers?? Anyone?? We don’t have to play a game but I’m very interested in learning to play A&A PBEM.

:D How about you go back to the shop that you bought the game, tell them what happened and ask them to replace it for you :lol: :o If they don’t do that don’t worry about it cause when buying tanks in a game you normally use the red and white chips to stack up tanks!! :D :D
