Thank you. Had not seen that and was unhappy to contradict Kriegkund, but could not see any difference with what I had said. Now I realise without a japanese DOW against UK/Anzac a Japanese player could have moved through an occupied sea hex on its way to a Dutch territory. Now it cannot. Though, of course, my way and knowing I was provoking war with UK/Anzac, I would have attacked them too and, therefore, not moved illegally through a sea zone . You have to love Japan.
Kamikaze Situation Question

I understand that Kamikize attacks happen during the allies movement, so here is a situation that I found in my game that I need answered. US moved and attacked the sea zone around Japan “zone 6” they also attacked and took Iwo Jima in the same combat move. I could not send in a Kamikize attack when the ships moved into zone 6 because Iwo Jima had not fallen yet (during the US combat movement). Now Iwo Jima is in US hands (at the end on US combat) and the US has a damaged aircraft carrier and a damaged battleship left over form the battle sitting in zone 6. Here’s the question; Do I attack now, still during (or at the end of) the US’s combat turn since I could not attack when they moved in, or do I now wait until Japan next combat turn before I can send in Kamikizes? I read all over the form for this situation and could not find it, hope I’m not duplicating an already discused issue.

You must wait for your next turn, since kamikaze and scrambling only can be done after the attackers combat move, and before combat. Buy some bombers and dont worry, the damaged ships dont go far. And save the K for next time.

In that case I will place some subs in that seazone, and as you know they fire a 2 against lonely trannies, so now you’ll need escort, and then……they come…
