This will sound like a dumb question but I was unclear on something. Can a fighter or bomber fly off the coast destroy an undefended transport and then rebase back where it came from if it has the movement.
Yes, you may load land units onto a transport during combat movement and make an amphibious assault in the same turn. In fact, that’s the only time you may load land units onto a transport during combat movement. Under any other circumstances, you must load them in noncombat movement.
