I use OOB rules.
I bought this game in November and play one on one against my usual A&A opponent.
We’ve played seven games so far and the axis have won four…allies three. So we think it’s pretty balanced…the only thing we don’t like is the starting IPC’s for Italy. You can’t buy sh*t with that and they lose half of their starting fleet before it’s their turn.
But since the axis have won four out of seven it hasn’t really affected the overall outcome.
What Scupts to use for France

@Imperious:
I prefer top left. I other one has one leg in the air. it wont take longe before that scult would bend and no longer stand properly. Both feet need to be on the floor.
Yeah I noticed that. Could easily be changed; it’s kind of like the German dude in a way.

but with the bottom left sculp you can point from away from the German line…… :wink:

As long as it looks good I’m happy.
-
top left, however the one with the trench coat next to him would be neat
-
Where is the one with the white flag?

yah the french infantry needs to be wearing a trenchcoat.

And why do they need to be wearing a trenchcoat?

@Brain:
And why do they need to be wearing a trenchcoat?
Because they dig trenches.

the trenchcoats are iconic of WWI and 1940 french infantry.

Yes but this is a WWII game.

Thanks Robert E. Lee. I missed that.**

Damn, someone beat me to it!
I like scuplt 3 with the soldier running and gun ready.
-
no axis and allies sculpts have the soldier actually aiming his gun, so im assuming the french piece wont either
-
How about sculpt #1, but add a trench coat.
-
im leaning towards bottom row, second mold
has a trench coat, iconic helmet, and gun at the shoulder, almost like the Japanese infantry. (who also has his gun up) -
How about the middle row to the far right. It has the trenchcoat and it shows the weapon about as high as they actually raised it.
-
how about the one w. no helmet, he is about to surrender??? :-D…I know NOT funny… :x
since the Frenchies best tank was the Char B1 ( I like the SOMUA S35 better)I would go w. the Japanese tank, it looks like the closest…How about the Italian Tank?..is it gonna be a Carro Armato P 40?..
-
I think the french inf should be like the Italian ones. Unarmed, and flipping you off.

I japanese tanks do not look anything like french tanks. Japanese tanks are really light, while the CharB1 was about the heavist tank on the battleifld in 1940 with a 75mm howitzer. I think the matilda would be fine, but also think the somua looks a lot like the t34.
